That's exactly right! Even though I could maneuver the place backwards w/ my eyes closed :cool:, I still thought it'd be fun to have them. They're really neat. Now, I just have to wait 104 days, 22 hours, and 3 minutes :rolleyes:

It's because it's like a drug. I mean that in a good way though. We all care about each other so much that we can't get enough. We all are fun, pretty much straightforward with each other, and we are a support system too.

We are all a family and we willingly invite others in...so that's why we all keep coming back and allows new people such as yourself to join in and feel like you've been here the whole time.

I just thought about that last night driving home and I couldn't figure it out. I mean we are all Disney fans, but other than that, we might not have much in common. I think for the most part we are all sincerely friendly, or we wouldn't be here. But what is it that makes you come back to this thread. I would check the WDW threads and post every once in a while, but, here, man, I am looking for a break at work that I can catch up..... catch up with what.... I mean other than MommytoMJ giving us updates, what are we here for.....

basically yeah..friendship...that's the number 1 thing.

Not that I'm hurting for friends in the "real" world. But I know I've become friends with these people by being here...so I come back day in and day out becuase they have become my friends.

Both, maybe. Sometimes you just bond w/ people, even when you're not looking to. You can't explain it, you just do :)

I think we are here for the support and friendship. Last yr we all were going though some bad times we had a black cloud over us in here.:cry: Now things are good right now.:sohappy:

Alright, hold on.

I am Rick, 32, happily married for 7 1/2 years. Father of one 3 year old superstar (in my eyes)daughter and one more on the way in July.
I am a sales engineer for a Manufacturer's Rep Firm in NW Florida.
bachelors degree in Industrial Technology (don't ask, I have no idea)
I grew up on Disney Channel in the 80's but only went to MK 3 times as a child. I grew up in St. Pete, FL but my family didn't have much money. In 2003 I had a business trip to Orlando and some of the events were at WDW. The following November I brought my wife, daughter and my wife's 2 younger sisters and I have been officially hooked eversince.
I love music, listening to classical piano right now, play trumpet and guitar at church and also lead the youth group.
I was a "band nerd" in High school and I married a cheerleader, so I am in fact the luckiest guy in the world. And believe me I know it.

That's a start, whose next.
