For me...it was The Pearl.

:eek: :eek: I LOVED that book... then again, I love nature and it was my own personal dream to run away to the woods.

I have only read two of Steinbeck's.
Of Mice and Men
and
The Pearl.
They were complete opposites for me -- HATED TP and LOVED OMAM.
