It's just a pointless book.. one of the few I couldn't stand reading in school. I liked, or could get through most of them... just not that one.

I have only read two of Steinbeck's.
Of Mice and Men
and
The Pearl.
They were complete opposites for me -- HATED TP and LOVED OMAM.
