my computer. printer. right click on the new printer then hit select. you'll see the check on whichever is marked.

Did all that - I've uninstalled, installed, rebooted, you-name-it, and it still does not make the connection that the printer is connected to the computer. I tried 2 different cords, still no luck....

If you haven't "selected" (move properties by right clicking and changing the order of selection) you can install it 100x's and it won't print. lol When you open the printer file which printer does it show as selected? (check mark, highlighted, or "priority" depending on your computer) if it's still the old one, you'll have to select the new one before it'll recognize the new printer.

It has selected that one. In fact, now at my BIL's suggestion, I uninstalled the other printer, so it has no choice, but still won't print....

LOL it's a little slower this year than most... but i'm working off... *gasp* a budget! ;) for like the first time in forever.... which is a great relief for me. :) Sooo.... I'm not quite 1/2 way done. But... my grams is in town which is making the shopping sooo much better. I love shopping with my grandma!
