Castmember Complaints

Cast Members working Monorails joke all the time about Expansion and people believe them, but no one complains for that. Why This???:lookaroun
One is speculation and a possibility, another is incorrect info about an animal exhibit. Those are two completely different situations.

This has got to be the funniest thing I've ever heard!!! Would you seriously complain about something this stupid? Are you for real! I mean did anyone die or get seriously ill? Did the CM curse, at least that is grounds for a complaint?

Try being a cast member for a day, you all may realize it's not the easiest of jobs.
What is stupid abouy a CM speiling false info about the Gorillas? It's the ONLY reason there is even a CM there. Tell you what, I'll go stand there for the same wage and just talk about my dog back at home, and how she likes to run in circles.

The info about my dog would be as useful in front of the Gorilla exhibit as incorrect info given out by a CM about the Gorilla exhibit. Not only that, the CM's incorrect speil is WORSE because people who are actually listening are becoming more stupid by the second, whereas if they were hearing about my dog, they'd at least know the truth.

Here's a complaint for you..

We didn't end up complaining because we thought not too much harm was done and if we did complain the CM probably would have been fired but here's what happened:

We always bring our dog (Toy Poodle) with us whenever we go to Disney, so like any other time we checked him in at the Magic Kingdom Kennel Club upon our arrival. That went as smooth as possible since we've done it many times before and knew exactly what papers to bring. They also asked if they were going to feed him or would we supply the food. We told them they could feed him because they offered the same stuff we give him, Puppy Chow.

Well it was the 2nd day and we went to go walk him and I go in the back and take him out of kennel #222 and i notice a sticky note on the cage saying "Ask guest for more food. Dog has not eaten." Before I asked anyone about that we took him outside and walked him and noticed that he didn't do "anything". So, we go back inside and before we put him back in the cage we asked what that note was for because they were going to feed Puppy Chow to him twice a day.

To make a long story short, the way the Kennel works is that once you check your dog out, you sign the yellow copy of your agreement as well as the date, and then they in turn go into the computer and take the dog off the "feed list" so they don't feed empty cages, because that appaently can happen if the cage is still on the feed list.

There apperently was a BIG mix-up and ANOTHER GUEST signed out OUR dog. That took him off the feed list and since there was no food above the cage and they could not feed him because they thought we didnt not give them permission too he went with out food for at least 24 hours because the date that was next to the other guest's signature was the day before.

Anyways, thats our story. I suck at writing, so if it doesn't make sense sorry. And I can only remember one name of the CM's that worked at the kennel and his name was Jim.
That may have only been a mix-up, but it's DEFINITELY a BIG deal. Not much that can be done, but there certainly should've been some talking going on about what happened.

Ah, my roomate works at the location specified....

You know what I hear from her everyday???

That guest always bang on the windows and make the loudest noises ever after being told not to, and I believe that 100 percent. Working here makes me see how guest are at times.

I got yelled at the other day just because I said the characters where going to be back in 5 minutes and it actually took 7 to 10 and they're like looking at me and kept yelling saying "I thought it was going to take 5?"

I now know to not to promise anything to anyone anymore.

True story btw, these two kids were banging so hard on the window that the goriilla came charging and picked up some of it's poo and flung it at them....the had to close the area for about 2 hours.....

Sometimes guest go to far.......

Ambiguity is your friend.

"Mickey should be back in a few minutes."

"The ride might be up and running by the end of the day."

"Mouse Gear should have the shirt you are looking for."

Ah, ahhhhh I'm being bas cast member and misinforming everyone, who's gonna turn me in!??

*blushes*

Since we were talking about pangani trail, I started thinking about the guest that already do bang on the windows. What I meant to say that about 2 months ago, a group of guys were being loud over by The valley where there isn't any glass and that's when that happened.

Do I please have another animal kingdom cast member to back me up on this??

*nods nods* I've been very careful with my wording. Yesterday I got yelled at by a guest for telling her that the way to the wine tasting was on the other side of character connections. I never told anyone that yesterday, I had no conversation about wine tastings anytime yesterday. What I did remember yesterday was saying "IF YOU WANT TO GO SEE THE CHARACTERS, IT'S ON THE OTHER SIDE!!" And I did happen to see a elderly lady with her husband walk into when I was yelling that so
she's the one that heard wrong.

Hello, I work at epcot and I work at the food and wine festival, why wouldn't I know where the wine tastings are, especially since I go to every single one of them on my days off!! XD:p Believe it or not, I can still stand after the heaps of them.

I just spoke to my pangani trail roomate about this complaint and she also told me that there's a difference from talking in front of the valley or glass with a headset and screaming from the top of your lungs "HEY GORILLA!!!"
They do it to give out information about the gorillas not to just be there talking and talking.

She also said that there are some elderly guest that do give out the wrong info, but that's because well they've been working there a long time and she admits, they're just senile. She works there so she knows her cast members. Over at innoventions, this is really true.....we have a few weird cast members. If these cast members were young, then she doesn't know why they did that.

Also, unless your trained for the area, no one from another location from the park gets moved there.

Anyhow....

It's Cast Members like this that have changed what WDW used to be. This typical teenage "I don't give a crap about anything" attitude has changed the guest experience over the years.

It's a hard job? Ha! First off, NO it isn't. Second, it makes no difference if it's a hard job. You agreed to do it for whatever the pay rate is. Either do it right, or leave. You're doing more harm than good if you're just spouting off anything you'd like.

You're kidding right? The OP made simple posts with basic info. Stop analyzing two words. It's OBVIOUS what the OP meant.

READ the original post. The OP was not there. The OP does not know what was really said or what really happened. How would you feel if someone complained to your boss about something they were told you did or said. "He said she said" should stay on the playground.

I think you should read the original post. She was asking where to complain so she could pass the info onto someone else....aka the people who WERE there. SHE wasn't going to complain, THEY were. Got it? ;)

Not a single one of us witnessed the incident in question. The original post was simply asking how her parents could register a complaint. That post did not contain enough information for any of us to pass judgment on her parents or on the cast member involved.

That sure silenced the crowd temporarily. :lookaroun

I'm not sure of the exact circumstances, but yes.... Somehow some guests upset the gorillas and the gorillas flung poo.

Thank you, Lucky.

I think a lot of people need to calm down.

Grow up seriously o_O;; I wasn't lying or anything, I just got my words mixed up. It has already been comfirmed that poo was flung at some guest that were distrupting the gorillas.

:lookaroun ?? I have no idea what you are talking about. I was merely commenting that CoffeeJedi has a great sense of humor in a few different posts in this thread and has cost me one grande sugar-free vanilla latte.
