Do they still only have one ladder? They really can’t. Even their fast isn’t all that fast because of how they are organized and work.

Would you rather have injured or dead workers?I also (begrudgingly) acknowledge there's much more regulation in 2025 than 1955 or 1971![]()
of course not...but it seems at times the regulations are excessive...akin to a meteor striking the planet...yes it could happen, but are the odds so minuscule to warrant the extra steps? I'm not in that field so I'm not pretending to be an expert. It's just my perception. And I've read numerous articles from multiple reputable sources saying that regulations are a (if not the) major reasons why home prices have surged in recent decades.Would you rather have injured or dead workers?
I don't know of anyone who died constructing Disneyland or Magic Kingdom (on many levels I hope I'm not proven wrong).Would you rather have injured or dead workers?
Regulation really isn’t the issue that slows down Disney. The regulations are known and even in places like California and Florida where they change every three years and that’s still the result of a 4+ year cycle.I also (begrudgingly) acknowledge there's much more regulation in 2025 than 1955 or 1971![]()
Housing is different. The big regulatory hurdles are zoning and development related, limiting where and what type of housing can be built. Disney’s parks in the US are pretty much free and clear of zoning issues.of course not...but it seems at times the regulations are excessive...akin to a meteor striking the planet...yes it could happen, but are the odds so minuscule to warrant the extra steps? I’m not. I love physical effects - I’m a sucker for the mummy, spider man, Indiana jones at DL, etc. but I would be happy to be proven wrong. Are we expecting the IJ ride to have real pyro?
Not a very good picture but you can see the steel in place in the bottom center of the picture.Encanto show building has gone vertical as of today.
It's a milestone worth celebrating on every construction projectVertical construction is visible?? That’s… basically meaningless. For all intents and purposes.
that's really impressiveFYI this is what NFL looked like ~23 months before it opened.

Thank you! They say misery loves company so I guess we’re all supposed to be the companyfor the love of Walt this is Disney, it should be fun, not something to be miserable over
Why? Visibility is a function of the wall placement, not anything related to the actual work. It's a milestone worth celebrating on every construction project
Vertical construction doesn’t mean steel and has been going on for some time now. All of those concrete walls they’ve been pouring are vertical construction.Being cynical and snide about vertical construction in a thread about construction progress has got to be a new level of miserable even for this forum
I very much appreciate the positivity. I’ve actually been more negative than usual myself so I welcome this as a slap in the face to get me off this negative vibe.people being negative about construction for the land that's being a vast improvement and Joe Rhode consulted should take a Time Machine back to the chapeak 2020 days. also for the love of Walt this is Disney, it should be fun, not something to be miserable

You can chose to be confused if you so desire.
