The Epcot international festival of the holidays menus were just released and apparently the black and white cookie is an almond cookie now which is a little disappointing for me because I don’t really care for the idea of nuts in my food.

I like nuts in my food, and even prefer chunky/crunchy peanut butter.
One of my favorite cookies is the white chocolate (although it’s not really chocolate - when it comes to real chocolate, I much prefer dark chocolate) macadamia nut variety…!!!!! :hungry:

It's a shame that so few houses have attics anymore. That is a great place to store, but keep, scary looking stuff. I remember the attic in my grandmothers house that my cousins and I used to occasionally explore. We were sure it was haunted up there, but there were so many treasures to be found. Years later I owned a house that had an attic and even though I was very much an adult by then I still had that same feeling when I went up there. When I sold the place I just opened the window and all the stuff that previous owner left behind hit the ground from three stories up. Well, not totally true I did manage to save a Wok Lid that I still use to this day.
I know you mean. My parents own a house that is over a 100 years old and has been in my dad's side for 5 generations. It has 4 cubby holes on the top floor and also has an attic door on the ceiling according to dad. The attic on the ceiling isn't exciting according to dad due to having wiring there.

Those 4 cubby holes have doors. Two of the 4 are in the front room. Another one in the closest that I used as a teenager and the final one is located in the bedroom I had as a teenager with the door of the cubby hole located side of the bed.

The cubby holes is where the true stuff is stored like a bumper of a wrecked race car. One of the things my great grandma stored was a store mannequin.

That is one ugly painting. Than again I couldn't be too hard because my parents have a small replica of this in their material cabinet:

We all know there are people that consider that castle ugly on the forums. My parents got a replica of that by buying at a store at WDW when Walt Disney World was celebrating its year round 25th anniversary.

Yea, I’m one of those that would take the BB-8 painting paint scheme castle over that nasty, sugary, gum ball puke-fest any day of the week…it’s not a castle, it’s a nastle…!!!!! 🤮:hilarious:

Happy Farm Market and Maple Syrup Saturday. Dh's parents didn't make their annual trip to Vermont this year so today dh and I are heading to a localish place to get syrup for the family. This person has excellent prices so a small bottle will go in some of the Christmas baskets I'm putting together along with some maple candy. Dh's parents and a cousin want us to pick up larger quantities, of course we're getting a half gallon for us:banghead:
