Epic Universe is the lowest rated theme park in Orlando

Definately not a troll.

Trying to address the huge number of negative reviews Epic is garnering online.
Which have nothing to do with annual passholders, since as you have been repeatedly told, ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS ARE REQUIRED TO BUY A SEPARATE TICKET EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY VISIT EPIC UNIVERSE, AS THEIR ANNUAL PASSES DO NOT WORK IN EPIC UNIVERSE.

The only benefit they get is a minimal discount which is roughly equal to the amount of tax paid.

I've been there when that capacity was well above some 10,000 cap that you mentioned -- and it's been well above that since after its opening week, so I don't know where you're getting that from -- and thoroughly enjoyed it, though my days did not have as many ride breakdowns as others have reported. But any park is going to suffer when even two of its major rides go down.
I mean, I’ve been there, and I’ve also looked at the wait times on days when I’m not there. It doesn’t matter how great the attractions are, most people are not going to have an enjoyable experience when the average wait times across all attractions is more than 60 minutes. There’s a reason the reviews are so bad relative to every other theme park in Orlando.

Why are they being given a discount on the day ticket then ? Forget that.
Well maybe because they’ve forked over thousands for an annual pass.

When visitor numbers fall, guess who the parks get their revenue from? Yes, the AP holders who go to the parks and spend money.

I’m intrigued Donnie. Do you have anything like a gym membership, tennis club, loyalty cards? It’s exactly the same idea.

Your stance reeks of bitter jealousy or entitlement. Which is it?

Because other than forking over many hundred per-person for an AP, in spite of your insistences, Universal's own research shows that Annual Passholders spend more money in the park on food and merchandise than most other guests. Additionally, the discount is minimal, and there are ways for almost any member of the public to get a comparable discount with a little bit of research.

In our case, our most recent visit to Epic for four of us - not including tickets for the park - included almost two grand in spending on food, drinks, and merchandise. That's $500 per person.

If you don't see the value we bring, maybe you should stick to your Thai holidays.

No idea, since he lives in the UK and apparently his preferred holiday destination is Thailand.

He has no horse in this race, but he wants to insert himself in it.
Ah, so he probably collects air miles with whichever airline he uses.

And when he uses those air miles, either to upgrade or buy a flight, he’s likely annoying others who think he’s free-loading. What goes around comes around.

The discount AP holders receive on a one day ticket to Epic is roughly equivalent to the discount anyone can receive by buying a ticket to WDW through a third party reseller like UT, or Costco, or Target, etc. It’s not a real discount and it has nothing to do with the crowds at epic. It’s like $10 to $15

It’s a discount almost anyone can get from a variety of sources.

LOL. You want to talk about overflowing the parks with cheap ticket guests? How about those 14 day UK tickets for Disney that cost the same as like a 6 day ticket for a US resident. There’s nothing wrong with that either but it just makes Donnie’s irrational hatred even more ironic.

No one tell him that Sea World gives away APs to kids in Florida.

His head might explode.

Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Zoo amongst others.

But Kennedy Space Centre and Legoland (UK and Florida) both used to do the “buy an extra day for $10/$20 more”.

We've thought about getting Legoland for our son, but living 20 minutes away from Disney, Universal, and Sea World (with their free APs for kids), it seems redundant.

Maybe we'll save up to go to Thailand on holiday. There's no good Thai food in Orlando.

I would say, now that the parks been open a while, they could probably drop the AP discount, seeing as it sounds like AP options are coming soon.

But it certainly isn't why the park faces the issues it does.
