Epic Universe is the lowest rated theme park in Orlando

This line is ridiculous:Certainly not surprising. There is very little grey in Epic being calm and enjoyable or ride capacity breaking.
Epic Universe's Worst 2 Weeks Ever.
Epic Universe's opening year has been a wild ride. Universal Orlando's new park has ping-ponged between low and sky-high crowd levels, with astronomical wait times that are worse than New Year's Eve at Walt Disneywww.disneytouristblog.com
Epic is hitting 80, and 85+ minute average waits across its attractions. Not even NYE in 2019 in WDW hit that, and that was the busiest day in Disney’s history.
Those waits arent’ really due to “crowds” either. They’re not even hitting close to their supposed capacity. This park was just planned incredibly poorly. It’ll probably take a decade to fix it given how long it takes to bring more attraction capacity online these days.

Yes. It’s a great park, if capacity is capped at 10,000 people.
I’ve been thinking more about this.
Epic feels like a park designed with high gate capacity but low ride capacity - which explains a lot of the early guest frustration.
It makes me wonder if that was intentional. Maybe Universal planned it that way to funnel more people into shops and restaurants, driving up per-guest spending while keeping the rides feeling exclusive.
Or maybe it was just sloppiness - but given the pedigree of the hires, including plenty of talent poached from WDI and top design, architecture, and engineering firms, that seems unlikely.
Then again, it could simply be bad luck. The construction timeline landed right in the middle the inflation spike and supply chain shortages. It’s easy to imagine that some things were quietly scaled back or shelved just to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

Can i just clarify Universal have made the decision to allow ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS to use this park all year ?
Who on earth made that mental decision ?!
Why give discount tickets to locals, cheapos, to visit the park so many times and contribute to crowding. The financial model of getting AP tickets is negated when you turn away high spending tourists (international especially).
You have international tourists, or those far around America who come, will spend money in Universal hotels, merchandising, eat in their restaurants, but they want a pleasent experience. So to hear Universal is allowing AP holders just to pop in after work and contribute to the horrific crowds and most of the complaints is sheer lunacy.
There should be an immediate ban on local pass holders attending the park this year. They do nothing but bring their own foods in, bring their own drinks in, and use the place as a garden. Get rid of this insane policy, it is a new theme park for crying out loud with crowding issues.

No, they have not. Annual passholders get a slight discount on a ticket - that's it.

They should not be dishing out annual passholders at all during the first year. What do you mean you get no discount? If you go 365 days a year are you paying for 365 worth of single day tickets - so of course you are getting a discount.
Ban these lot from taking their foods into the parks. Free loaders who go their a picnic.
No wonder this place is getting bad reviews when it's full of free loaders contributing to the crowds.

I've been there when that capacity was well above some 10,000 cap that you mentioned -- and it's been well above that since after its opening week, so I don't know where you're getting that from -- and thoroughly enjoyed it, though my days did not have as many ride breakdowns as others have reported. But any park is going to suffer when even two of its major rides go down.

Let me explain this to you:
Annual passholders DO NOT get admission to Epic Universe with their annual passes. They purchase a ticket to enter, like everyone else. The only perk they get is a slight discount on a one-day ticket vs full retail.
