I was frankly expecting a much weaker attendance in 2024 due to the olympics, the summer was very weak last year and getting 15.8M guests is pretty spectacular. I am now more convinced than ever that next year the parks will cross 17 million, having surpassed 16M for the first time in 2023. Disneyland Park could stay in the 10 to 10.5 range with Studios gaining the biggest percentage with 6.5 to 7. What do you guys think?

My first thought is that those figures are misleading.

Almost no one is going to WDS without going to the Castle Parc. So the WDS total is simply a sub-set of the DLP figure.

I realise it’s probably just how they’re done for all multi-park resorts, but in reality how many of those are there in Europe?

But I agree the drop last year is less than I expected.

Problem with that is it's pretty misleading. We spent the last 2 days starting in WDAP before heading over to DLRP for the majority of the day.
Yes, and I suspect that’s fairly typical. Because the parks are so close together, and a package includes park hopping, people will go back and forth.

We swapped parks 3 times in a day as we started in the Studios for early entry, (Remy and Web Slingers); switched to DLP for breakfast and stayed until mid-afternoon; went back for the Mickey and the Magician show; went and ate at the Village and finally returned to DLP for the fireworks.

That counted as WDS but we were there for maybe 2 hours.

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

Apparently access to the Disneyland hotel is being limited to hotel guests and reservation holders for meals or character experiences.
