It's actually an animatronic vacuum that sucks all the cash out of your pockets making it even easier for the guests to properly donate to Disney

"A 20% service fee per person will be required for this event. In an effort to move to a more cashless user experience, we will now use AI-enabled technology to simply engage with the chip right in your credit card. Your screams of "yeah" at Clawhauser will serve as your affirmative consent to the transaction."

Annual Passholder preview details for Zootopia: Better Zoogether! have been announced:

As a special thank you, Passholders are invited to be among the first to experience the brand-new 4D show Zootopia: Better Zoogether! before it officially opens on November 7, 2025.

Passholder Preview Dates

Passholder previews will take place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park on November 5 and November 6, 2025.

How to Experience This Preview
  • First, make a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park to have an opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day.
  • Next, on the day of the preview, use the My Disney Experience app to request to join the virtual queue. There will be 2 opportunities to join each day of previews.
  • The 7:00 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a theme park reservation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park for that day.
  • The 1:00 PM virtual queue will be available to any Passholder with valid admission. A theme park reservation is not required.
  • You do not need to have entered a theme park to join the virtual queue.
Important Information
  • Passholders must have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass with valid admission on the preview date and may need a theme park reservation depending on the time of visit. Applicable pass blockout dates apply. Theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability, and reservation requirements are subject to change.
  • As a reminder, if a Passholder has a reservation to another theme park, they must enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Or, Passholders may visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park without a theme park reservation after 2:00 PM.
  • Each Passholder can request to join a virtual queue no more than once per day.
  • Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the preview. Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on availability of the attraction. Learn more about virtual queues.
  • Offering, dates, hours and virtual queue distribution times are subject to change or cancellation without notice or liability.
Rats. I was hoping for the week of October 27. Oh well. Next time.

I love me some high quality animatronic figures.

Let us hope Big C here is a little more reliable then his ‘cousins’ over at Tiana’s Bayou Misadventure.

He looks great, and a nice move to not do the projection eyes.
They probably would not have looked very good in a dark theatre setting….as the ‘glowing eyes’ in that environment would look a bit off.

Looking great! My family wasn’t ever interested in the Bugs show, so hopefully this will be something they can get excited about and will add to the roster of things we like to do at AK

I haven’t followed this very closely, but am I understanding this right? The story of the show is that we’re gathering in this massive tree to watch a livestream? So there’s no longer any pretense that the characters on the screen are real? We’re just… watching a movie? Eef. Why is this even 3D now?

Bug went to great lengths to make it feel like you were watching actual characters on a stage. This just sounds super weak to me. I also have to imagine that the concept will feel dated within a decade.

Any other guesses about the future that you want to complain about now?

Hi, that’s the description of the show from the blog post. What exactly am I guessing at here? That is quite literally the officially announced plot of the attraction, that we’re gathering in the massive Tree of Life Theatre to watch a livestream.

It's also very clear to me that this was not fully developed when it was announced. Considering the last time I checked in on this, it was about exploring the biomes from the film and Clawhauser was in his security uniform.

Or are you referring to the assumption that it might feel dated in the future? Can you name a single attraction that featured a story with “current” technology of its era that didn’t end up that way?

Cool aggressive sarcasm, though. Opinions aren't complaints. But you know that. I truly don't understand why you bother to respond to half the things you do, because it rarely adds anything at all to the conversation. I'm discussing the attraction. You're just complaining about my opinion. It's like we're back in the Frozen animatronic thread, where one tongue-in-cheek post (that was on-topic) led to 6 ironic pages of pointless off-topic whining about "negativity hijacking every thread."

I think it's fairly guessable that the livestream bit is a setup, and then "things happen" to justify the 3D effects. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong but like, it just makes sense. Philharmagic isn't an actual concert, after all, that's just the setup to get you in the seats.
Same thing when havoc is going about during a Honey I shrunk The Audience.

Well, this is the first major product of the post-Rohde era. I am sure the park will be a giant glorified billboard like all the other parks that tangentially features animals within a few years. BTW, My award winning article on the history and likely future of Animal Kingdom now has a second home.

The idea is that we're watching the said "Livestream" with Clawhauser however as many Disney attractions follow "That Something Goes Wrong" and that's where Nick and Judy will be following said culprit or problem that is happening on said screen...

While they have mentioned a better explanation of the 3d film we don't know what will be within the preshow area as we're waiting to go in as of yet...May not be such a better explanation but, that's the vibe I'm getting..
