You seem to like the decorations elsewhere, why not here?
It doesn't make sense to me, either with the story of Frontierland as a whole or Phantom Manor
Why the reception here and not the Manor as seen in the ride? Why was the saloon left abandoned for so long?
It would actually work better if it wasn't in a state of ruin, but as if we're about to attend the reception, or if this was the rehearsal dinner, to be followed by a gathering at the estate.
But even with that angle, it would still work better with roaming live actors. Imagine if there were townspeople as other guests, surprised to hear of another reception, spreading rumors about the bride, apprehensive to be there or seen with her. They've heard what happened to the last groom, or that he won't show, or the bride has taken ill...
I get what they're going for, but it still feels off to me.

For what it's worth, the Unlucky Nugget does have a kind of show on the stage using some projection effects and music
Did the Molly Brown reopen today? Is there any progress on the new scenes?

The website (currently) has it reopening on the 18th October.
For some reason my brain thought it was another day
The boat is however now back at its dock being prepared for reopening
