I realise that, but I trust myself to spend within my means and on things I see value in. None of it “hurts” me; if it did, I wouldn’t go in the first place.

One thing I've often wondered is how do you know which specific meal makes you ill. Unless I'm eating at a hotel restaurant for every meal (doesn't happen), then how would I know for sure which meal or place made me ill. Without being gross, you're always going to bring up your last meal regardless of whichever meal made you ill. I get if you eat at somewhere different to where you normally do that your mind may tell you "It must have been that place that I've not been to before" but it doesn't necessarily mean that it was that place surely?

In this case two of us ate the same breakfast meal and both of us got hit so pretty clear.

I can only speak for myself

If im going on a vacation like Disney we are “park commandos” and want to do as many rides as possible so if that means paying up for LL so be it. Its also why i stay value bc i am barely in the room and why i rent a car bc i think busses stink. I also enjoy my character meals bc my daughter had fun with them and allowed her to get her interaction fix for the most part. So for what amounts to a lousy extra 500 so be it if it means im having a better time. My logic is if that extra money is gonna make or break me i shouldnt be going at all.

I get the the urge to “commando”…Hell i still haven’t recovered from two little group trips in college to GA and Cedar Point…gotta be at least a tiny brain bleed that hasn’t healed yet

But “commando” in a Disney park really isnt about rides. They weren’t designed for that…and if that’s what you obsess with…which I think we all agree somewhat LL has placed emphasis on…you’re missing out on the Genius of them.

So just to clarify, you know how much money you have and how much things cost at WDW. And then you decide using your own mind what you like to do at WDW and then use your money to do those things. And you know not to spend money on things you don’t need or like.

Disney is still not offering a product that suits me best. Mainly, an unlimited lighting lane (I know, VIP tours, but that’s a bit too rich for my tastes and awkward when you are doing a park solo.) I love this perk at Universal (get it via the hotels,) love it at Six Flags parks (all season Fastlane owner,) usually don’t need it at Sea World or Dollywood/Silver Dollar City. I just want to be free to do what I want when I want, Premier Pass doesn’t let me do that (only one ride per day,) MLL doesn’t either and isn’t enough squeeze for the added hassle at WDW (it is at DLR, and I purchase it most days there.) EE/Rope drop and closing the park usually gets me on the E-tickets once a day, and I’m perfectly content doing low wait rides and shows midday but I certainly wouldn’t mind having to show up 1 hour before opening and power walking for the first and last 2 hours. It would probably be be close to 4 digits a day which is too much to buy it regularly but if it was available, under the right circumstances I would probably buy it.

As i said. Going to Disney is about the parks. We enjoy rides. We enjoy parades & fireworks. Catching shows ending a night with Fantasmic or whatever Epcot is offering these days lol. Of course walking around WS and all the other parks offer. But yes doing rides are definitely what we enjoy. Disney Springs for a night usually makes its way in the mix but since the last couple of “shorter” trips we skipped. Yes when doing doing character meals in a hotel we will look around a little for sure take some pics like we always do to see how my daughter has grown from an infant until now. I just never understood sleeping in and spending hours at a pool while at Disney but i also agree everyone vacations differently and can respect that

Yes but I’m a roller coaster nerd, and love the Disney dark rides, I do actually want to ride them when I’m there (I know shocking.). Heck when I’ve been really lucky I’ve done ToT 4 times in a row in 90 minutes, I love overloading my vestibular system. Getting GotG, Frozen, TT, Soarin and Rat done in the first two hours allows me to explore WS at my leisure and do stuff like SSE, Imagination and GFT as well as catch the Marriachi band, and eat around the world. If I didn’t do that blitz I would feel compelled to still attempt to do most of those rides.

Depends on the day, and who I’m with. DHS would be the park I would most likely buy it for, as it lacks a lot of great choices for midday entertainment and with an unlimited pass I could marathon ToT and Midway Mania.
