I can’t think that hard considering I don’t understand what you mean? are you saying that I shouldn’t go to theme parks if I don’t like lines despite there being a program specifically for people like me to pay a little extra to skip the lines? Idk, my solution has been working pretty well for me and I’d rather just pay the $20-45 to save hours
Bingo…

You go to a place that literally is built with queues…double pay for ride access…and celebrate it?

Winning more than Charlie sheen 👏

And just to show it’s a philosophy…not personal…I’ll give you my other takes

When people complain about how physically hard it is to tour parks…it makes no sense either. They’re huge…because they’re built to load the maximum amount of people possible. By design.

And when people don’t want to get up early…don’t go…
Because they’re built to attract the maximum amount of people in the shortest window they can get away with to save costs…
By design.

We didn’t start this fire…it was always turning since Nixon was burning

Just answer that Disney parks weren’t meant for people to visit multiple times a year. 🙄

Obviously I don’t mean that but we shouldn’t be deciding who gets to go to theme parks and how they get to enjoy them.

I worked too hard for what I have and saved too responsibly to let anyone else tell me how to spend my money. Or worse yet, to decide that theme parks (almost all of which have paid line-skips) were not meant for me.

Theme parks have changed to meet the demands of current guests.

This might be the dumbest thing Ive read this year..........

If i dont want to get up early on vacation you are saying I shouldn't go?

Jump off that soap box please.........I know this is probably hard for you to get, but most people aren't like you (thankfully)

I think everyone should go on vacation…everywhere…everyday…

But the local should match your preferences

We were spoiled when things were run well…and we could mosey in anytime we wanted. I too miss those days…

But they’ve intentionally squeezed it where that doesn’t work very well…to spur the “faux luxury” lightning lane revenue stream

Now that I think about…there is an advantage in the declining crowd environment to arriving late…after around 5 in dak and mgm you can typically stroll on the rides quite easily.

I do feel sad for my fellow man that paid for those things at 10 am unneeded…especially the bad Star Wars ride ☹️

If you like late mornings…cruise ships are the way to go…

The breakfasts kinda suck anyway and the hotel is parked in a different vista every morning 😎

So, I am an adult. I’m a nurse. I have my own money. The most expensive park is Magic Kingdom. I never go at peak times but let’s say I go when it’s $180 which is fairly middle but on the higher end. + even the $45 price point for LL that means my day is roughly $17-18 per hour for a super fun time where I don’t wait in any lines. Or I can spend $13 an hour but wait in lines. My choice is obvious to me but if you don’t like it, that’s fine, it’s not your money anyway.

I’d like to point out that I’m a theme park fan at heart. I just don’t like lines. All theme parks around the country and quite a few around the world have ways that I can skip the line in some way by paying an additional price, and I’m fine with that because it’s a PREMIUM experience to not wait in any lines.

I paid 10x more at Universal to skip the lines at the haunted houses. $300 is insane to skip the lines at Uni and I only got 1 skip per house:ride for a total of 14 attractions which for the most part I still waited 10-40 minutes for and were over in like 5 minutes or less for all of them. I still enjoyed myself but if you want to talk about overpaying for something now THAT is

If you don’t like carousels, you might as well not go to Disney World, they have a carousel AND they’re building a new one

Good for you as a Disney Adult. Now multiply it times 4 or 5 or 6 for a family then add that on top of the base admission and food and merchandise.

$$$$

It's a major demotivater for the average guest to know that their experience may be significantly worse even though they're spending a significant sum of money already...All for something that used to be free. Maybe they'll just go somewhere else.

I can’t imagine too many families buying LLPP.

We had a group of 10 for 6 days and I remember LLMP and LLSP coming to around $1,600. We didn’t buy LLs every day and 2 were under age 3.

In my opinion they are pricing out many young families.

I’m not a Disney adult. Atleast in my view, I truly love the Disney parks and Disney movies but I don’t make anyone thing my personality and I don’t identify myself by any specific hobby of mine. I’m a fan of Disney who is an adult which I’m aware is purely pedantic but to me there is a difference.

Anyways, I do have a family but we do chip in separately for stuff like this. If I had my own kids, I could afford it but I know it’s more expensive but hey, kids are expensive. I’m not gonna ever have more than 2 anyway unless I end up with triplets or twins. The whole world has gotten too expensive for kids, that’s why birth rates are dropping.

Parents get their kids those light up wands for $40 at the circus and stuff. The main difference is that this $40 purchase is actually useful for me.

I’m one of the only people who in some ways prefers LL over Fast Pass anyways.

Happened to swing by the app for an unrelated reason and I was SHOCKED at how long those waits are…

You can’t put a price on avoiding the 10 minute line for rat or the 35 for flight of passage…I’d pay $1000 for that no question…

TAKE MY MONEY, LORD BOB 💰💰

Thankfully he’s
Gonna Jack the fees next week to screw those idiots from New Jersey…
…ama right?!?

I reckon there’ll be record-high LLPP prices for Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks. Purely a guess and not reflective at all of Bob’s need to squeeze those guests more.

I wonder if the lower park waits may have something to do with the news of the impending tropical storm at historically one of the slowest times for the parks…

But who knows right?

For the 5% of visitors that are locals each day? The fillers?

Definitely

For those who bring in the bacon and travel longer durations? Some…for sure.

Shouldn’t be that slow in October…or really any month out of the last 36 it has been…with all that unprecedented demand…however

Aren’t there thunderstorms and flash flood warnings there right now? I think it’s from the hurricane.

The app is showing a lot of outside rides closed.

Considering that their “biggest competitor” ‘s BRAND new park is not cracking 1 hr waits with half their rides closed while Tron is breaking that and opened years ago… I think it’s just the storm man
