Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Circling back to the sell-out of LLPP for MK and DHS next weekend…….

I just realised that as well as being a US holiday, it’s also the start of the UK schools mid-term holiday period.

There must just be enough onsite guests thinking “I can’t be bothered with this LLMP stuff, let’s just buy the Premier Pass for a couple of days and get all the rides done without the hassle”.

The following weekend isn’t that the 1/2 marathons?

That is a good point and might be a higher percentage of like "long weekend trips" with just the Monday holiday for (some) US schools so want to get more done in less time

I also think the limit for these is fairly low so doesn't take much of an uptick for them to sell out

Except you just posted that character meals are for 5 year olds. 😉
In answer to a post suggested that anyone who would pay that much for a character breakfast must be 5 years old. You have to look at the full context.

To be fair, I do believe that Disney character meals are primarily directed at young children but can also be enjoyed by adults.

As we are usually on different wavelengths

How is a character breakfast you’ve been to 10 times an “experience”. You’re not “experiencing” anything…it doesn’t fit the definition of the term.

Now I visit one occasionally…and it’s fine. It’s an “indulgence” and that’s perfectly fine. It’s travel…that’s what we all do. We can pick and choose what we want in that basket. I’m not gonna feed the buzzwords that are meant to manipulate.

But it also leads right back to what I said…the products have been packaged and geared to fit a certain mindset…and the one I described at the top is a big piece of that. It is what it is…it’s a tactic by the supplier that feeds the consumer. No need to say “but it’s not that…” and then repeatedly reaffirm that it really is that. The cake is just a cake
Poor me with my feeble mindset! I’m so far gone that I can’t even decide for myself anymore if an experience is an experience!

Joking aside, I’m happy to remain on my wavelength and leave you to yours. I don’t think I have anything to gain by continuing this exchange.

I think it’s 2 weeks later.
Correct, the Wine and Dine Half Marathon is the first weekend of November.

Minnesota has a school holiday the Thursday and Friday after Columbus Day, so airfare anywhere warm and sunny is usually ridiculously expensive the minute flight schedules are released. I'll be curious to see if any of those dates sell out for LLPP.

I thought I saw it on the schedule the week before Halloween? 🤔

The first week of November is the dreaded jersey week…which I hear has taken some hits the last few years as well?

There is a pain point at which people won’t pay for said service. LLPP just had not got there. I paid $36 for single to go on guards yesterday. Was worth it. I don’t go on a lot of rides so the single does it for me. I used the premier pass once in Epcot, thought it was overpriced @ $175 but I will say reminded me of the old days where you could just go on what you wanted , WHEN you wanted , i didn’t have a set schedule of having to run across the park to make my said time on a ride.
If you’re going for a short stint like a weekend the PP is worth it to people. And I agree I won’t stay in a deluxe for $800 + but will stay in a moderate or the swann for $300 and buy a pass or two.
I just can’t get there…

Not trained to pay more than the outrageous ticket price for line access…coupled with the prices they’ve squeezed on everything else in the park…
It doesn’t equate as something either reasonable nor “fun” to do…

…also…get off my lawn

Yes, that was explained to me. That’s why I referred to an upset stomach, which, in my experience (am I allowed to say that?), precedes a bout of diarrhoea. Your previous post seemed not to get that association, which left me genuinely confused.

It seems you’re determined to pick a fight with me. I think we’d both be better off if we just moved on.
Not a fight at all…

More of a case study…

I gave an opinion…which is just that based on my observations and experience…

And I usually…not just here…get a “no…it’s not that…” followed by 6 explanations that paint the picture of my opinion in the first place…
And then the world spins backwards
