Of course, but we all know thatās a show to a certain degreeā¦all Iām saying is that it appears all of their emphasis was on the front end and not in the interior of the āpark/resort/mall etc. This has all the earmarks of an inside jobā¦apparently they knew all the security shortcomings throughout DS.
I hope this is sarcasm.
The robbery took place after midnight. No one was entering the area so as to be checked for imported cheeses.
Hey, just because they confiscated your tins of krill last time you went there...

Again, yes I know it happened after closing, but it seems all the emphasis is on the front end of DSā¦and donāt say that because it was after closing, thereās not the same need for security patrolling the interiorā¦hell even when I was closing mall stores after 10-11 pm, the ārent-a-copā mall security was still walking the building interior.
You blamed activities done during guest arrivals as the reason security didn't catch an after-hours crook.
This makes zero sense.

My theory: all three were in on it. Guy never actually was in the water, heās an employee, came to work with the scuba suit in his bag, charged somewhere on the āvesselā, made sure a security camera caught him in his getup, āstoleā the money, changed back into regular clothes somewhere and walked out with all the other restaurant staff from across the park like normal.
Surely the news and relevant law enforcement wouldn't be reporting on it this way if that was the case?

Iām trying to find more information but having difficulty finding the police report. I want to see where this story is coming from and if they have any concrete evidence or if theyāre just going by āeyewitnessā reports. Did anyone truly see the man get in and out of the water? Did he scale the side of the boat to get in? Where did he swim to/from. Itās all very weird.

Absolutely had to be an inside job.
No way this guy would know exactly where the managers office was on the āboatā and know there was that much cash on hand.
He had to have worked at his particular location, or was close friends with someone who works there and was feeding him intel.
The theory the two employees who witnessed this and were left unscathed were in on this could also be a possibility as suggested.
The whole thing smells fishyā¦and Iām not talking about whatās on the Paddlefish menu here.
Should be relatively easy to find out who is employed there ( or recently departed ) who has scuba diving experience or a dive license.
That isā¦.if he even was in the water.

The restaurant is not that big, if those were the only two employees still there then it wouldn't have taken long to search the back of house and find the managers office.
