Self contained underwater breaking-in apparatus.
I expect anyone with any scuba or snorkeling gear in their backpacks will be instantly thrown to the ground, arrested, interrogated and perma-banned from Disney property! This is EXACTLY what happens when all your security is tied up screening guests, strollers and backpacks looking for contraband…
Hey, just because they confiscated your tins of krill last time you went there...
How deep is the lake? Like 6 feet?Disney has a gaping hole in their security - scuba divers arriving out of nowhere. Slackers, Disney, slackers. LOL

That sea serpent needs to be more vigilant next time-all it needed to do is to be in a position to have the diver step on him with his bare feet, and the whole situation would have been different. They’re just lucky the guard LEGO sea serpent was sleeping at the time
Faking a robbery, either just a report or otherwise, is a crime...What if this is just a publicity hoax to push the "go cashless" incentive?
I think I’m inclined to agree. Although I have to admit that it would be pretty impressive if true (but remember kids, stealing is wrong even if done in a cool way).My theory: all three were in on it. Guy never actually was in the water, he’s an employee, came to work with the scuba suit in his bag, charged somewhere on the “vessel”, made sure a security camera caught him in his getup, “stole” the money, changed back into regular clothes somewhere and walked out with all the other restaurant staff from across the park like normal.

This seems like it would have required a good bit more gear than just SCUBA equipment. Village Lake is pretty murky, so it seems like a decent light would have been required to actually be under the water. And then there’s the distance to actually swim somewhere else.
WDW needs to train up some security alligatorsDisney has a gaping hole in their security - scuba divers arriving out of nowhere. Slackers, Disney, slackers. LOL
Could a submersible be put in somewhere "remote" on property and then be used to enter a park? Are the waterways connected enough to do that?Disney has a gaping hole in their security - scuba divers arriving out of nowhere. Slackers, Disney, slackers. LOL
There’s a lot of damns and filtration systems that would make it difficultCould a submersible be put in somewhere "remote" on property and then be used to enter a park? Are the waterways connected enough to do that?
