The food and religion aspects turned me off the video though.

Enjoyed the video, but I agree that they could have highlighted more of the rides in the park as well. (I looked on the Dollywood web site and there are quite a few -- looks like fun!) That aside, the vibe in the park was a nice combo of upbeat and relaxed.

The couple who filmed the video, did a good job of sharing Dolly's life -- growing up from humble beginnings (so to speak), especially with the home (replica) that housed such a large family. Religion was important to Dolly, and I thought the way it was presented in the park was respectful to all. And what an amazing musical and movie career she's had -- I especially loved the tour bus, and thought that was a very unique attraction!

That's what they ate. There are many other options available. As for the religion part well that's always an individuals right to agree with or disagree with. I can tell you that it is not extreme enough to worry about. After a number of visits to Dollywood, I can't say that I even remember that part. Since it is set up as a personal belief of Dolly, not an influencing kind of message. To me it was just them telling me what she believed not what I should.

They didn't mention them by name, but did show a number of different coasters. Most all have themes. The wooden coaster is it's own theme. Ride an old fashioned wooden coaster. They have a lot and most are pretty intense.

Dollywood doesn't push religion unlike Disney who pushes a certain view. Dolly Parton is to Dollywood what Walt Disney was, emphasis on was to Disneyland and WDW

I get Peacock to watch the soap Days of Our Lives, I've been watching it since I was in middle school in the late 1990's. I hope they have a teacher deal out this fall.

I get Peacock to watch the soap Days of Our Lives, I've been watching it since I was in middle school in the late 1990's. I hope they have a teacher deal out this fall.

We got a deal on a full year back around Christmas for ridiculously cheap. They usually run it 2 or 3 times a year so keep an eye out and good luck

I did a quick search and looks like there might be a deal for educators for $2.99 a month. Or since my niece will be living with us and she is a college student that is $1.99 a month for students.

Dollywood maybe bigger than Magic Kingdom, but not by much if it is, but certainly not WDW as a whole. It's hard to tell exactly how much space it takes up because of it broken up layout and elevation. I went one time along with my grandkids (they were young at the time) and the kids area was awful, but guess what it had there. Flying elephants and swirling teacups. Sound familiar? It just seemed more run down. Of course being in the Smoky Mtns it has more winter weather and at that time would close right after Christmas until about April.

Being closed right after Christmas doesn't stop Guests seeing Dollywood have snow and would be something that @MinnieM123 would want although the snow stopped at a certain point of the video:

YUP, Farm market prices, beats store sale prices. Today was tomatoes only got 50 pounds, zucchini 1/2 bushel, 5 dozen eggs, garlic, fancy mushrooms and some greens. The fancy mushrooms are for dh's chicken burgers

If you start driving now there may be some left. Maybe? 1 dozen eggs and 1 pound low sodium turkey bacon already gone I have a bag of chips (and by bag I mean the big one from the box store) I'm going to turn into nachos with chili and fresh salsa. The chili and salsa are both no fat, almost no sodium (no added salt) low net carbs, coconut yogurt instead of sour cream. Vegan cheese lower sodium and fat than regular cheese. The chips not healthy at all lol
