That's a very odd comment, you must not have watched it. It's pretty good for what is a marketing video.

Timestamped; the host of the video oversaw PTN.

Weird comment, but now I rewatched it. I just realized that they used another version of the Cantonese announcement, this announcement was probably recorded before they finalized the Chinese name for "Friendtastic!". If you've seen videos of Friendtastic!, the Cantonese announcement doesn't call it "Friendtastic!" but it's Chinese name instead.

I pretty sure they don't even have plans set out yet for what the "Pixar-entertainment" area is going to be like, they are probably still in Bluesky or R&D. I have a feeling that the Spiderman TOT will open just before the park reaches it's 25th anniversary, assuming that work hasn't start yet over in that area.
I can’t imagine that the location is pie in the sky considering they have already put up walls and starting ripping down the bamboo

We don’t know if the railroad is closed because of TOT or the Pixar location but what’s the benefit to ripping down the shielding bamboo and replacing it with ugly construction walls if you still have zero idea what you plan to do with that plot

Not at all. And yes I have.

I’m going back to HKDL. I’d really like to see PTN there. But I don’t put any merit in its return by what’s seen in this video.

Oh not at all, I too think it doesn’t mean a thing.

I just meant your comment that they didn’t even know what it was - was a bit needlessly critical and inaccurate.

I think during the annual legislative meeting from last year, Michael Moriarty stated that the 20th Anniversary would include a returning attraction. If not PTN, then what other attraction could be returning?

Ok, so didn't he meant like Philharmagic? Also, would you mind providing the timestamp when he said that? Thanks!

To be fair what could they bring back that’s not entertainment, it’s not like they have an empty show building to bring back an old ride

And almost none of HK’s rides have overlays except arguably space
Stitch encounter? After the big success of the movie it seems like a wasted opportunity not to bring that back!

In my mind, Friendtastic would be a new offering. When he made that statement last year, Philharmagic, Orbitron, and the Treehouse were still open. If it’s not PTN, the only thing that was resurrected from the dead recently was the River View Cafe.

I have such amazing memories of nighttime parades at our parks all around the world, and I am so excited for that experience to return to Walt Disney World.”

Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World about the brand new Disney Starlight Parade today.
I’m sure brand new parades can be considered as returning offerings for Disney 😉
