It's a switch off your brain and enjoy the pretty scenery and dinosaurs chasing people film. Your ability to do so will determine how much entertainment you have. It was alright to decent. It did what the label on the tin said. I was entertained but not wowed.
I suspect it'll be a massive hit this summer. I saw it in a crowded theatre and the younger people certainly enjoyed it. One kid stood up and cheered at something towards the end of the film. Some of them clapped at the end.
I would liken it to Alien Romulus. It's fine, but we've seen it all before, but if you haven't seen it all before, you'll probably enjoy it a lot more.
Hopefully, it's a palate cleanser for the series from whatever happened in the previous couple of terrible films.
F1 is a far more entertaining summer blockbuster this year, but people wrongly think they need to know F1, and so are hesitant. Everyone understands Dinosaurs. Monster goes roar and snaps mouth.
Also, movie takes place on Pandora. Wierd.
