Maybe that's what the schematic plans are for that show a Soarin 2.0 style setup? That would work terrific for Up

The Theater area would have been a great location for Mystic Point... A bridge between Asia and the Tropical Americas....but I think that Encanto is going to take all of the extra area leaving no room there for much of anything...

It'd be super-redundant with the Seas With Nemo and Friends' existence in EPCOT, too.

What theaters do is "eat" people and help with capacity. I'll see Nemo almost every time. A chance to cool down for 30 minutes and enjoy a show? Check.

I enjoyed the new show - maybe a little less mature but had great puppetry and like you said, a great break from the parks and the shorter duration than the original version doesn't eat as much into your day

I would love to see Nemo replaced with a Coco show focused on alebrijes, using giant puppets, with some new original songs alongside the classic ones.

Coco 2 opens in 2029 so they could get a leg up and have this open in 2028

Understood. However, I grew up going to WDW and didn't visit DL until I was 26. Maybe of the rides I came to love at WDW we're instantly downgraded in my mind, making me kinda mad. The appreciation for the 'little' park in the middle of Anaheim went up considerably. I'm not belittling MK at all, or mad at anyone, just disappointed.

Pooh, the jungle cruise, phillarmagic, mermaid, are better at MK. Peoplemover, Astro orbitor above TL, CBJ, COP, HOP, mine train, TRON are only at MK. BTM, Buzz are getting upgrades that should put them on par

I know it's not the point of the post... but I'm surprised Nemo and Dinosaur use different shades of green... Dinosaur is what I would usually associate Goawaygreen with.

Please be careful in terminology -- a "mine train" is a specific type of roller coaster, and BTM is one. So is 7DMT.

Im out of the loop and certainly a little behind on these projects, but wouldn’t it have made more sense for properties like Lion King and Zootopia in ANIMAL Kingdom?

I love Indy, it’s a terrific IP, but….huh…?

Zootopia is going in Tree of Life. There’s a rumor a Lion King ride could come but nothing announced.
Dino changes to Indy because it’s very popular at DL and same ride system, so it’s being refreshed to Indy as Disney seems to out of the dinosaur game for now

Yes, you are very behind on pages and pages and PAGES of this debate.

In summary:

Lion King and Zootopia are about Animals dealing with Human problems. I personally still think Lion King works, and should have a ride in AK. Zootopia is a bit too anthropomorphic to fit AK for me, they would do better at the Studios.

Indy while a human, can have a heavy focus on a mythological creature ala Everest. In this case, Quetzalcōātl.
