I'm guessing a Jungle Book overlay to Kali
Is that a BELOVED attraction, though?
You could really turn all of WOL into an Inside Out "Mind" pavillion
The franchise has such a large scope of ideas that could be explored at EPCOT
Each section of the pavillion could be themed to a different part of Riley's mind
Imagination Land for playgrounds, Headquarters for M&Gs, Islands of personality for interactive educational elements, etc
It would be a shame to waste Inside Out on just a 3D movie at magic eye
Would today's Disney go through the trouble of revamping a long-abandoned pavilion, though? I can't help but think that a 3D movie in the Magic Eye would probably be cheaper and thus what Iger and his team are more likely to do.
Enough already with the Pixar crap.
I mean, there are some PIXAR movies I think would work fine in EPCOT.
WALL-E wouldn't be a bad choice. I think
Elemental would be a good choice for a pavilion focusing on the elements. But if they replace Figment with Joy, I'm going to flip out.
One of the major characters from the first film is an imaginary friend.
Considering that he's apparently not even mentioned at any point in the sequel (there's a little origami figurine in Joy's room as an Easter egg. That's all we get), I wouldn't expect any hypothetical
Inside Out attraction in the Imagination pavilion to have anything to do with Bing Bong. And if he's not in it, what's the point of going to Imagination Land?
Honestly, I think that's why the idea of putting it in the Magic Eye Theater doesn't bother me. Captain EO and the Short Films Festival don't have anything to do with the imagination either, so putting an
Inside Out show in there doesn't seem like it'd be any worse a fit. I honestly think a show would be a better fit for the franchise than a dark ride would anyway - unless it's a book report, the ride would probably just be scene after scene of the Emotions gathered around the control panel in Headquarters. And that would be a very boring dark ride.
