MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Almost impossible unless there is a lot more to it than what it appears.

Racers and Splash are the 2 best modern Disney rides in my book. When everything is working Rise is up there too (seeing the canons move again made me realize how good it can be).

Racers is pretty close to a masterpiece.

If Piston Peak is indeed better than RSR, it will become a global must-ride destination. RSR, particularly in the evening, is among the finest attractions ever created by Imagineering. Kinda surprised that RSR never got the "Behind the Attraction" treatment — it certainly deserves it.

Wow, such a bad take. This is 100% personal opinion and not at all fact.

You ever think that poster has some personal issue to make him obsess and hem/haw over how bad they think WDW is? Especially since it’s the most popular theme park/resort destination on the entire planet for decades. If that’s a failure , I wonder what success would look like?

Eh….. MK has some serious issues that should have been fixed by now. When I point out the lack of live entertainment vs. Disneyland park I’m told “but there is an entire resort with more live entertainment” - that shouldn’t be an excuse. 4 parks should offer MORE attractions and entertainment - not just spread them all out more.

Comparing MK to the castle park in Tokyo is very fair in my opinion.

Yet millions of people enter the gates year after year. I think my problem with yours and some similar users posts are they are so hyperbolic. So dramatic. WDW is a vacation destination, they don’t cater to the population the same way the many disneylands in the world try to. Isn’t that obvious by now ?

my brain was remembering the initial concept art which seemed to highlight less indoor elements. I’d love it if this turns out to be accurate and those indoor sections have dark ride elements!

I’m not trying to be dramatic - I’ve visited 3 castle parks in 2025 already and I’ve enjoyed each visit. But I do think MK has been, and continues to be, poorly operated and expanded compared to the others.

I think there's a pretty large incentive for WDW to make this the new ILL over 7D... and thus make more money.

Some fun math... 7D can do ~1200 riders per hour and probably averages ~$13 per LLSP. More assumptions of 30% ILL and a 13 hour day say that WDW makes ~$61,000 a day or ~$22 million a year on 7D LL.

I think Test Track/RSR has a pretty similar capacity to 7D, but out a DLR, they charge $22. Meaning it would make $103,000 a day or ~$37.5 million a year.

Now it does have a slightly higher height requirement (40vs 38)... but if disney can nail it, they are looking at an extra $15 million in LLSP sales a year plus whatever LLMP extra sales they get from 7D being downgraded.

Fine, but outside of maybe Tokyo, what the heck is there outside of those castle parks specifically at those resorts? DCA? Paris Adventureland lol! Those castle parks better be good.

oh yes, the WDW resort is great. I love taking the transportation around and exploring the resorts. and yes, Epcot is a fantastic park to visit. No doubt.

The adventure park in Paris is going to be really nice when this expansion is complete.

Well that’s a whole different question. Maters junkyard and Luigi’s dancing cars are both fun to watch and ride. But plopping them into Frontierland may not be the best decision.

Pretty sure all Lego stores do sell Disney merchandise but the riverboat is not Disney.

I did see the Lego riverboat on display at Downtown Disney.
