I saw Aerosmith at DHS. Heck, they even arranged for us to get a limo ride to the concert. I understand that that are now on the way out, if not already, but happy memories. none the less.

On a side note: I'm sure y'all missed that witty banter, but I'm back. Maine was nice, the ocean was wet, the fish dinners were plentiful and I went to Oxford Casino and only lost $40.00. My all time most winning visit to any casino. Sorry, I was so engrossed in nature that the picture I posted is the only one I took.
Welcome back! What non-seafood dishes did you enjoy? And I don’t want to miss a thing.

Too bad I couldn't send the rain from the Door County Trip. It was raining there on Friday and Saturday and it caused one of the things my parents wanted to do on their 50th anniversary to be canceled.
What my parents were able to do on their 50th anniversary was able to go to Bayside Tavern for dinner with my younger brother and I and to Sara's Artisan Gelato for Dessert with my younger brother and I also.

They did Bayside Tavern because its one of their favorite eating places in Door County and Mom loves Munchie Basket as an appetizer.

A Munchie basket has Onion rings, breaded mushrooms, French fries, Sweet potato frees, breaded cheese curds, breaded cauliflower, pepper jack nuggets, and mozzarella sticks.

2 questions. One McDonalds has a banana shake where you live? And two do they not have vanilla?
They always have Vanilla, Strawberry, and Banana. Those are year round standards. In the fall and winter they have chocolate, and in the spring and summer they do some other fruit one. One year was raspberry....it wasn't good. It tasted very chemically....like it was obviously fake raspberry flavor. Then last year I think it was mango-passion fruit. They had cherry one year and that wasn't bad.

Banana is a really popular flavor over here, so any place that sells shakes will have a banana flavored one. I personally don't like it, but to each his own. I just wish they wouldn't get rid of the chocolate to make way for yet another fruit flavor when they already have so many.

I hardly ever see my cousins compared to before when we still had family parties but that statement would hold true for me.
For me, the cousins are fine (well, except for the drug addict ones, and obviously I don't see them). It's the aunts on my mom's side. I really don't have much to do with them anymore.

Though right now I'm teaching my 16 year old cousin how to drive (that's a long story as to how I got roped into being one of her driving instructors) and I may be driven to drink. 😆

I'm kidding; she's doing very well actually.

Glad she's doing well. Question: isn't there a (free/or reasonably priced) driver's education course at her high school? I knew a lot of kids who learned how to drive that way.

She already took that, but you have to have a certain number of hours behind the wheel to get licensed. I also found some knowledge gaps that we need to address. Things like following distance, right of way, etc. And then practical things that they don't teach you (like, never assume you have right of way).
