Not going to lie or sugar coat it...pretty bummed about the train. I understand it's not shutting down entirely, but I feel like we just got it back!! Why even bother with the 2 stops?

It was 83 here today, but I don't think you want to live where I'm living.

I am saying that because we got Canadian wildfire smoke today in Wisconsin.
Today, we had our first back to back 80 plus degree days in 225 days. Problem is Wisconsin had a air quality warning today due to that wildfire smoke from Canada.

That being said, my number 1 favorite Wisconsin Vacation spot didn't reach 80 yet this year and I think its going to while before that happens. I am referring to Door County.

I know, I know... I'm about to ruin your day by letting you know that I will be heading for Maine tomorrow morning and I probably won't do much in the line of of posting anything until after the 15th. Try to get through it without me. I could possibly post but that would require my using my cell phone and I hate using my cell phone to send a message of any type. In the first place my fingers are to "pudgy" to use the keys to post and the verbal system is either hard of hearing or just trying to make me look more foolish than I really am by changing words that I have spoken. It's just very trying. Anyway, any of you that reside near Wells Beach, Maine please make sure that there is warmer weather and clear skies next week. I've been in the south to long now to cope with chilly. Until then everyone stay healthy and ridiculously happy.

My good friend who lives near Boston drives a few hours just to eat the lobster rolls at Reds Eats in Wicasset, ME and drives back home same day. She said it’s heaven on a plate.

I've been going to Maine since I was a pre-teen with my parents. I went with them, I went with my wife and family and I went by myself a number of times. That coastline was instrumental in helping me make life changing decisions when necessary. I'd walk the beach and make an attempt to figure out what I needed to do next. I found myself there many times proceeding my decision to move to NC, which was also decided there. This time, nothing to figure out, except where to eat next. Can't walk the shore now anyway, but I can look at it. I could do that here in NC too, but without the memories.
