Yes- we somehow always manage to be behind/in front of/near *those* kids- you know the ones who have to push every button and spin every wheel and run from one to the other (if there's space) while simultaneously holding up the line as they do so! Here's hoping for some relief with a queue refresh of some sort!
There’s some hope since they actually added more climate controlled space to the Splash queue when they converted to TBA!

Guilty as charged. Seriously though I think the interactive queue is pretty fun and the backstory stuff is even more fun.

Biggest issue with interactive queues is when the interactive portion is too close to the merge point and leads to delays in Standby guests arriving at merge.
Exactly. Only then. Otherwise there is no such "hold up"—everyone stays in the same order. I'm always baffled by people who get visibly antsy when there more than five feet of empty space between people in the queue.

I think these must be the same people who drive three inches behind my bumper.

It would make sense to do different restraints. My wife and I are over a foot in height difference, which causes her to basically slide side to side on any turn since the restraint hits me first.

Although honestly, it makes it more fun
To me the single lap bar is a feature not a bug. It makes BTMRR more interesting. Also allows for three riders in a row.

I understand the re track is to keep the attraction safe.

As for lap bars, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

We saw what happened when they tried to fix Splash.

I only hope they don’t try to fix Test Track.

The announcements to “keep your wait time at a minimum” don’t help.

There are ways to still do lapbars that are not as outdated as the ones BTMRR has been using. There are plenty of more comfortable, modern options for this that would not change the ride experience at all beyond making it more comfortable.

Don't get me wrong- my problem is not people interacting with the queue, or even leaving some space "unfilled" while doing so. It's the chaotic/disruptive nature of the participants we tend to be stuck behind. Interacting for the back story, or to hear/see the fun elements Imagineers placed there- all good. People who spin the wheels as fast as they can for no other reason than to see how fast it can go, 20 times in a row, while the line has moved with space for 50 people- or push every button as fast and hard as they can 100 times- not so much... In the summer heat as I'm melting in the queue? Nope!

I'd also think a new restraint system will be in place as well. Probably not a full width lap bar.
I hope this is true. Riding as a full grown adult with one of your little kids brings on a new level of terrifying as the lap bar does not come close to touching them or restraining them in any way. 😂😂😂😂😂 maybe that is the point….

This is said in fun. It’s fine if they don't change anything. Don’t karen me…
