I mostly don't use Target for groceries unless it's just stuff like sodas or such that are cheap and I'm having it delivered. Otherwise, I go to an actual grocery store (mostly curbside pickup these days).

No, Target is for just about everything else. Clothing, books, knick knacks at home, cat stuff...see, Target's magic is you walk in and let Target tell you what you need. 🤣
I do like their seasonal stuff. My favorite is the phone that you pick up and there is a voice on the other end (Halloween and Christmas addition)

Sorry for the delayed responses by the way. I had to take some Tylenol and a quick nap. I’ve had a bad headache since EPCOT yesterday.

Well next time you find yourself in Florida come check it out. They have a really good bakery especially and they DO give out free cookies.
I spend a lot of time in SC (3 weeks to a month per year), so I'm familiar with southern grocery stores. I don't get the big deal with Publix.

Kroger is the one I wish existed up here.

Ha haha yeah I forgot it’s hard to imagine for some people that I just go to Disney whenever I want.
I very much considered moving to Florida when I was in my early 20s. Unfortunately, I have had health issues and have to stay up here for the healthcare.

You really shouldn't feel toooo terrible for me, though, lol. I spend a lot of time in WDW. And Disneyland is getting a fair share of my attention lately; this will be the third year in a row that I go there.

We were planning on doing the ducktales world showcase adventure but the system was down so they gave us a free lighting lane for frozen ever after. I forgot how good it felt to scan your MagicBand on one of the tap points after they took away free fast pass.

Now I’m jealous! I’d give anything to step foot in Walt’s original park! (Honestly though I dream of visiting any other parks)

I begged to go when I was a kid and eventually my dad gave in, lol. We went once when I was 14, and then again when I graduated high school. Then right before I graduated college, I got an AP for out there (pre-covid obviously), went once with my parents and once with a friend. Then took a hiatus because of Covid, finally got back in 2023. I wasn't in a very good place then mental health wise, so I didn't enjoy it as much, so last year, I had the opportunity to go and went solo and did a longer California trip, which 100% was what I needed; it was a fantastic mental health boost, especially since the trip was in October and in December I got super sick and haven't been nearly as well as I was on that trip (even though I'm better now; my body is just taking its time adjusting to a new normal). Did a lot of San Diego and hit Knott's Berry Farm and Sea World out there as well. I love San Diego and plan to go back whenever I can.

I am planning on going to Disneyland next month with my family (unless an upcoming doctor's appointment goes poorly, then I will probably go by myself later in the year again). Then I also am in WDW again in August, part solo time partially with my parents.

Next weekend I'm going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a short trip. I also have a season pass to Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, which is about 1.5 hours away, but I haven't been so far. I was going to go this weekend, but I think my energy levels are too low.

What’s a wegmans?
It's another grocery store that we have up here. They're ginormous. Like, twice the size of the grocery store I use regularly at least. They're really good for specialty items that you can't find elsewhere. They've saved my behind a few times when I've been onLots of vegan items, gluten free, international foods, etc. They also have a cafe on site.

I also find really random stuff there. I have a ring holder that I found there like eight years ago for $5 that I use all the time.

The first time I went to Disneyland was in July of 1968, when I was about 3 months shy of turning 6 years old.
We went again in 1970 and 1972, before we moved back to Texas in 1976.
We went again in 1987, the year Star Tours opened, and the last time we visited Disneyland was, unfortunately, in 2010.
We’ve recently discussed about goin’ back soon, but no immediate plans to do so, as we’ve got another (Carnival) cruise coming up.
The memories from my childhood of Disneyland are very vivid though, and some of my favorite, for sure…!!!
