I agree, but people love Cosmic Rewind. Your stance was that everything Disney has done lately has been a letdown for all.

Again, a sleek hotel that is owned by Disney vs. an ugly industrial water treatment plant owned by the city. They knew it was there, and they could
Pandora, SWGE, Space 220, Awesome planet, Cosmic rewind (the ride), point of light, Luminous, MMRR, the skyliner are not aw man at all.
They are great fun. But in terms of thematic immersion strength, more aww man than nailed it. Space 220 was a third party resteraunt, but sure it's fine.
The discussion was about immersion breaks, not quality of thrill or guest satisfaction. Also, MMRR was not technically a ground up build which is what I mentioned earlier. It was in a gutted already themed building.

They're largely fictional toys. What scale? This is the first time I have ever seen this complaint anywhere.

Okay. This screenshot is taken from a video posted today from Coaster Studios on YouTube.

Please let me know where, in the WDW parks, I can find a view like this. This is really bad. We should not see this in a premium park.

I seriously didn't want to dwell this hard on the park's negative aspects because there's a lot to love. But man... come on.

So...

Are you going to mention this is not at ground level like you you stated parks should not have such bad views of earlier, but in a taller elevated part of Stardust Racers?
Coaster Studios also was realistic. They said it was one unfortunate spot in a park full of great ones.

Is this more.egregious than the metal building you enter for Toy Story Mania's queue that has definitely not improved in many years?

Also. Please if you change your thinking on one thing, pleasd lnow that the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is not actually owned by Walt Disney World.

It's like 20 feet off the ground and part of the queue! You can also see this when walking into the queue from ground level, the view is just enhanced on the second level of the queue. YES this is different than being 50 feet in the air ON the ride!

This is the most glaringly bad view but it is far from the only bad view. YouTubers avoid heavy criticism to be treated favorably, news at 11:00.

A thousand times yes! You also avoided the question - where in WDW can I get a view as bad as that?

Little more than that. And the park is new chief.

Okay so it’s 25? Pedantry only shows your desperation to be right. By “on the ground” I meant views you can see from walking around, as in not while on a ride.

Animal Kingdom and IOA did not open with off-ride views like this.

It's a blah view but not much different concept then what you see from the WDW railroad or from.30 feet in the air on the skyride. Nkt where the money is spent.

This just goes round and round.

Show me a view on the wdw railroad this bad.

The old sky ride did not have views this bad. The skyliner, if that’s what you meant, is outside of the parks.

Now? More trees.

For years...pretty dang bad.

See part about new park and temporary non ideal.

The old skyway Def had some gnarly views of reality.

Ummm...
Sure did.

Whether from Toon Lagoon Ampitheater or wondering what the heck Camp Minnie Mickey was and exploring thus odd thing called Pocahontas and her forest friends like an odd flat painted theater. Asia was also confusing. Dinoland as.many hate it was not even that yet. Tents that you were told were bone exhibits.

And those were things you were invited to see, not a few backstage views that are not begged or focal points. ( And can be easily fixed as time goes on)

All parks open rough.

First pic is from the path leading from storybook circus to tron and 2nd picture is from the path between cosmic rewind and mission space.

You know what's funny?
With 10% more effort, Universal could have shown them up. It feels like literally 10%. That's why this is frustrating.
Maybe 10% more money?

My main focus is on the 90%. I’ll take that everyday and be extremely happy about it. It’s rare that we see close to 90% nowadays.

Disney "owns" it meaning responsible for it. The expression own up to your mistakes.

That is not the definition of owning it in terms of a hotel, Tishman and Metlife raked in money and the nomenclature you notice is specific about that hotel, but I will be clear to it being an sightline that Disney should own up to over EPCOT.

And here is one from two recent Magic Kingdom openings less than 20 feet off the ground, that is somehow excused because of what company and during ride time where you should not see it, rather than a ledge on an elevated extended queue.

I just think there’s a lot of bad ones! Especially from Universal.

On that note on Pirates, Pan (Tokyo) and Pirates (Shanghai) are sublime and in many ways are more impressive than their equally still great practical progenitors.

Having been on Tokyo’s Pan not seven days ago, that is a dog of a ride that I can’t believe got off the drawing board. With its dodgy resolution, stutter inherent to 3d projections, limited vehicle base movement, minimal flight choreography, and visually impaired field of vision, there is never a single second in this ride where it actually feels like you are flying. How it’s possible that they conceived and built a modern Pan attraction where the sensation of flight is less convincing than a ride that has already existed for nearly seventy years baffles me. And that isn’t even the ride’s cardinal sin.

Ehh... DAK was underbuilt, but in its current state is comparable to Epic and it will have more attractions (as in not just rides) than Epic when the Dinoland and TTBAB replacements are complete.
Its surprisingly close though for a 20 year old park vs a new park. Its basically even right now if we cut out things that aren't open yet (encanto, zootopia, and carousel) at 15 vs 16 attractions each
DAK
  1. Affection Section
  2. Animation experience
  3. FOP
  4. Conservation Station
  5. Dino/Indy
  6. Discovery Island Trails
  7. Everest
  8. Feathered friends
  9. FotLK
  10. Nemo
  11. Gorilla Falls
  12. Kali
  13. Kilimanjaro
  14. Jungle Trek
  15. Na'vi
  16. Wildlife express train
  17. Zootopia
  18. Encanto
  19. Carousel
vs EPIC
  1. Astronomica
  2. Le Cirque Arcanus
  3. Constellation Carousel
  4. Curse of the Werewolf
  5. Dragon Racer's Rally
  6. Fyre Drill
  7. Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry
  8. Hiccup's Wing Gliders
  9. Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
  10. Mine-Cart Madness
  11. Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
  12. Stardust Racers
  13. The Untrainable Dragon
  14. Viking Training Camp
  15. Yoshi's Adventure

Disney gave Tishman the equivalent of a zoning variation with respect to the height. Legally not the same.

Give Disney 100% of the credit (blame) for the hotel.

They gave Tishman the design. Michael Graves was hired by Disney, not Tishman. That was part of the deal that Eisner made, in order to control the design Disney agreed to pay for it.
