I mean, everyone expected AP Previews before the park opened. When IOA opened they did AP Previews but still called them Technical Rehearsals, so...

My guess is everything up until May 23nd will Technical Rehearsals.
Disney used to open everything the first day it was ready. Literally.

But times have changed since a park opened 25 years ago.

Now even bad rides that never work are delayed to score points on nonsensical dates.

guess I am used to passholder, etc previews being free and limited in time, etc - and limited to passholders (or DVC or whatever) not to anyone staying at a hotel and not charging for a full day - so seems more like testing regular days vs just giving passholders a sneak peak

Is that a way to dig the big, new park all the kids are geeked about…while protecting the swamp of stagnation down the road?

You WILD boy 😎

What does that mean? Are the ghostbusters coming too?
A two story facade plan was just filed near where Fallon was. So while bttf is possible. I think the NY Library Facade work has something to do with it. Unless there is a Hill Valley Clock Tower facade going there. Whuch would be sad. I am told more Ghostbustersare coming. That park realized they should habe never have ditched them and it goes well.

Sony is easy to work with and The Netflix series is in production.

are you talking about the stuff for the coaster? Pretty sure it’s FNF.

also BTTF is San Fran.

The work on the NY Library Facade was needed. It was in bad shape.

While I do think Ghostbusters will make its return to USF, I don't think it's the coaster's theme. Ghostbusters is not the right IP for a thrill coaster. GB deserves a special effect spectacle.

While the new coaster can easily be Back to the Future, I also think its sharing a budget with USH's studio tour finale replacement. May not be the best choice for the IP, but it's a step in the right direction.

No, the coaster is fnf I think. The rumor was BTTF replaces supercharged. I’m not really sure what they are trying to say here.

Ghostbusters is coming, and could be the coaster? Or is the two story facade NOT for the coaster?

Yes. But this filing for a two story building is different than the recent refurbished.
Ghostbusters is not the same coaster project.

Oooh. That makes sense. I also caught on to you saying where fallon “was”. The recent two story building is different from the coaster then interesting. Right next to Fallon too?

If I’m not mistaken, I’m picking up what you are putting down.

I've not heard anything about this. My understanding is the next thing after the FF coaster replacing RRR is a Back to the Future re-do of the FF area. I could be wrong.
Someone told me a while back that BttF and Jaws were fighting for the plot. This could be the upgrade of the century…but please let it be more than a retheme. Supercharged hurts my neck.

UGH. Jaws would’ve been perfect. Also bringing back jaws would’ve been the ultimate power move.

Wish we could’ve kept the og.

Nearly everything about 1990s USF was better than what's there now; it's almost unbelievable how much worse the park is in terms of attractions.

Diagon Alley as a whole is amazing and better than Jaws alone, but Jaws was certainly better than Gringotts.

Revenge of the Mummy is the only one that's even close in quality to what it replaced.

Agreed.

Hopefully they really put some time and thought into what/how they redo USF.

This rumor had me until Jaws. While I would love it I don’t think Universal wants to deal with animatronics in water ever again. Would love to be wrong.
Honestly the only thing I heard about it was that they were considering using the ride system they had designed for the indefinitely delayed/scrapped Zelda boat ride, where there would be a track above and below, allowing for tighter turns. I think it was going to be indoors.

I’m not a prolific leaker or anything, but occasionally people I know will share stuff with me, and then something will come out from someone else that lines up with that information. This would be one of those times, and if correct, I’m happy that BttF won out,

Why? Was Jaws the worse option? Or is BTTF really good?
