I actually found the desserts really lacking the one time I tried it, though I know the offerings rotate pretty regularly. Not even a third the quality of what they put out at a Club Level lounge when it feels like it should at least meet that standard for the price. But the view is definitely great.

The dessert parties aren’t what they used to be. You can get alcohol at them but the actual desserts don’t seem to be as good as they used to be. They used to serve the cheeseburger spring rolls, so it was nice to have something savory. The only savory items that they have now are cheese cubes and the little toasts that go with the cheese. I tend to load up on the chocolate covered strawberries…..

It’s exorbitant now. I remember taking my kids when they were 2 (10 years ago). They were free. My wife and I were $30. Now THAT was a steal!

Never gonna happen again, though. It was a great way to see Wishes (at the time) with stroller-age kids, though.
Yep. We did the Tomorrowland Dessert Party when it was $25 per person. No way I'd ever consider paying the exorbitant price they are charging for it now.

I didn't say value based on price, I just said that it's a fun experience if you can afford it. I was just leaving a reviews. I don't know the price because Disney Dreamers Academy covered it. However, looking at the price online, it seems to be a good deal. $111, and you get as much dessert as you can eat, front row seating for the fireworks, a fantastic view, and you get to be out of the crowds. And how does it lack credibility? I was simply saying "it was fun!"

🤦‍♂️

We've done the dessert party when the price was $68/person. The desserts weren't that great, and our family of 6, with 4 teenagers at the time, couldn't eat enough then to justify the price then. It's too rich, too much, too fast. It's gut rot within 30 minutes. If you think these desserts they're offering would be priced at $20 a pop if offered elsewhere... they aren't.

And HEA wasn't and isn't worth spending a penny for.

This kinda flew under the radar (at least for me since I've been more keen on watching Luminous streams recently), but the finale of HEA was recently plussed!

Specifically, 2 green horsetails were added when Tink appears for her flight.

The new pyro just adds to the already-epic grand reveal. Also acts as a backup B-mode effect for when Tink can't fly due to wind/weather concerns.

This was added sometime in early May from what I can tell on various livestreams. More pyro is always a good thing...but even better when it enhances the finale sequence more!

Also somewhat unrelated, the timing of the big white shells that go off during the Reach Out and Find Your (x3) in the end were finally fixed a couple months ago. They now go off on every beat correctly, which has been a pet peeve of mine since the show returned.

Something else I've noticed unrelated to the pryo is that the projections look real bright and clear which has been an issue I've had since the show came back even in 2021.

Side note, man listen to the roar of that crowd. Having Tinkerbell fly to start the grand finale is truly one of the best creative decisions made for a nighttime spectacular.

Also at 14:52 in the hercules segment they added two extra fireworks in what used to be dead space.

just saw the show tonight from the Polynesian- definitely more pyro than in the past. Looked great!
That's good, because every time I watched it there it looked like a downgrade from watching it on the beach than before to the point I was asking myself was it not because that was Enchantment but it wasn't because I have not watched Enchantment from The Polynesian only Grand Flo.

Well looks like this only lasted for about a month. The 2 extra horsetail pyro during Tink reveal is gone now.

Most likely they were just burning through some extra pyro stock. Wish they consider keeping this effect permanently as it enhances the much awaited reveal of Tink.
