Expect fewer influencers in the parks until media and AP previews kick in.

Quite a few Team Members lost their jobs (or faced serious discipline) for bringing influencers with them during Friends & Family preview. Unfortunately, some of those guests broke the no-photos rule, which ended up violating the TM’s NDA.

Imagine losing your job to curry favor with PC Dev.

One of the rumors floating around - and to be clear, I haven’t heard it from enough sources to say it’s true - is that some influencers actually reached out to Team Members on social media and paid for access during previews. I’ve also heard the reverse: that some TMs offered up their spots to influencers for a price.

If any of that’s true… yeah, that’s a massive no-no.

While a clear violation of the employees' responsibilities, Disney and Universal's inability and/or unwillingness to deal with these social media personalities continues to be a problem.

That be the one.

That's what happens when you poach an executive that's been at one company for that long. They try to bring their friends along.

The same thing is happening in other industries.
More than that. Basically everything people made up about Barbara making Gensler a major influence.

What's the going rate for this kind of access?

Asking for a friend.

How exactly would they do it? Unless the influencer does something stupid like Adam The Woo, Backdoor Disney, or that Matt Sonswa (spelling?) kid, how are they going to ban these people? Most don't break rules, so really all Disney and Universal could do if they wanted is fine them or have their videos removed from YT for profiteering off of their grounds and IP. That would be a waste of time and resources, just to cut free promotion... and only a few (small) businesses have rarely ever stooped to such idiocy.

Its free publicity for them (universal) and they didn’t break any rules. The only people mad about them are the ones that are jealous they couldn’t post or review anything before they did. Otherwise, nobody in the general public cares. Its a themepark. Its not serious.

Apparently Universal isn't too happy, or else there wouldn't be firings and discipline being handed out to staff due to the influencers.
