Whenever a place only has Freestyle machines available I usually just drink water. I can't drink the awful "Coke" that they provide. So I guess I should thank Coke for making me drink less Coke.

Somehow even the water comes out tasting like leftover syrup.

I joined the waiting list at 1:30 pm. Just started hour 4 of waiting to get in.

They quoted us a 2-hour estimate. Clearly underestimated the appeal of sitting down with free soda.

Got a text 30 mins ago saying "soon."

At this point the lounge closes in 45 minutes. I'm just going to stick it out.

I think it's capacity. A lot of the people waiting to get into it were not "highly active on social media" types, I'd guess.

I really hate these exclusive "lounges", they should stop locking off random sections of the parks to people who sign up for timeshares. Everything else is overcrowded enough as it is. I want to go upstairs at Imagination again, but I'm not signing myself up for tens of thousands of dollars of commitment to a destination an ocean away to do so.

It was open to all as the upstairs Imageworks until 1998. It contained really cool interactive exhibits for all ages.

But it has references to actually/formerly good things on the wall. That's the main difference between Disney and anywhere else now.

Bob has made it clear their target group now is DVC members ---it makes them a ton of guarantied money. I remember when guest satisfaction was the goal --how times have changed

It's plain and dark to the point of being unwelcoming. The photos below seem brighter to me than the inside felt.

There is a handful of photos on the walls, one painting, and a couple of knickknacks. I'm pretty sure the second floor is a reduced-scale prop and can't be used for anything.

It's a brown box with a soda fountain and snacks. It's not at all an interesting space that you'd want to spend time in.
