This video was from 2017. It's probably developed a lot more, we just haven't seen the latest versionI really don’t know what to think at this point, as the vast majority of that media looked contrived and/or CGI.

The only video we have of the concept is from 9 years ago. There are many reasons a company might not show promo-videos of their new tech, many of wish override the desire of fans to see it.Somebody, please.
I just wanna’ see somethin’ semi-convincin’, at this point.
My guess is Dynamic attractions doesn't want competitors to see how it works until as late as possible, they don't care if fans want to see it.

Patience. We're only going to see things when Disney decides to release things. There isn't likely going to be any leaked footage of the ride vehicles, only what Disney/Dynamic Attractions announcesSomebody, please.

They unveiled the ride system at a giant event attended by their competitors. Anything proprietary is going to be protects as trade secrets with patents. Actually building one of these would actually reveal anything special, not videos.
They haven’t made more videos public because there isn’t a need. Buying a ride system isn’t something done quickly. Any real customer is going to have meetings where more information will be available.

Keep it short and polite.
Do not make suggestions. They immediately discard those emails because they do not be accused of taking you idea.
Do not say what you like about WDW or the MK, just be direct and say you do not want the Rivers Of America to go away.
We will all get an auto reply email, but I am told by an insider they are counting the "Save RoA" emails.
Its worth a try.
This also looks to be a formatted reply, but it says, "Please be assured that we have shared your comments with our Leadership team, along with the appropriate management, as feedback such as yours is taken very seriously."
So it may mean they are actually counting how many people do not want RoA destroyed.

That “listening to your opinion” thing is standard customer relations speak. I don’t think they’re literally counting every email. Keep sending emails though, don’t let roa go out quietly.
Sorry to be “that guy” but I think y’all are still holding out on false hope. I know it sucks, but the river will not be preserved in its current form. Too much of the plan for MK relies on using the space, and I don’t think they’ll push back their plans for both projects by multiple years to save the riverboat. Maybe with enough of feedback, they could possibly adjust it so a smaller strip of the river is saved and we can see pistion peak across it! But the river as we know it is most likely doomed.

The superior Rivers of America will still exist at Disneyland. The Magic Kingdom version doesn’t have a dry dock, has far more significant water management issues, etc.
There are some very talented and impressive people working on this project. I think most of the people hating on this project will be surprised by the end result.

I think they are literally counting how many "Do not destroy RoA" requests come in.
Whether of not they do anything with that data is the question.
And yes it could be false hope but hope is all we have.

To me, it doesn't matter how great the final product turns out to be, it won't make up for the loss of the river.

So your position is that they should’ve refurbished the Rivers of America and the Liberty Belle? And expanded Beyond Frontierland and create a massive in-park dead end?
I’ve been watching people stroll Frontierland. Hardly anybody pays the river any mind.

Hey now, I'm all for new and I'm very optimistic for the Cars ride, but trying to prove a point on why the new stuff is good and saying that people don't pay the river any mind is very off-base on what the river is supposed to be. It's very much for ambience and beauty within the theme park while adding a river front theme to where you are (Frontierland)
I believe, based on the first concept art, that Disney can still add some beauty to that stroll with water and nature-like features, in-between the ride and Frontierland, though and I am hoping it looks good in person!
