But that’s a better product. Hands downThey have been doing this for ages with EP.

All parks do that with their skip the line system. That is also an add on and isn't something you need to visit the park. They have been doing this for ages with EP.
Well this management will not stop until they die…so this isn’t a concernHere’s an interesting thought.
What about the negative reaction of guests who were going to go, but got shafted by higher prices because they booked late?
I can bet that a lot of people would just say screw it and do something else.
It really depends on how the virtual queue is applied or why it’s “needed”So you’re cool with Virtual Queue then, right? I don’t particularly care how new something is — bad practices that force you to buy a LL or extra park ticket stink.
You're excusing bad behavior by explaining, "But they'll stop the bad behavior later!"Again it's not like this ticket package is the only thing way to buy tickets ever. They have already said Epic Universe single day park tickets will be made available soon.
I get that the way Universal is doing isn't necessarily the best way but it's no where near as bad as the possible surge pricing rumor.
Just about all other parks will do this if Disney does it.Just cause other businesses do it doesn't mean Disney should do the same. This a horrendous idea. No other theme park does this crap.
Finally someone who understands! I was arguing with my mom about this earlier too she thinks it will make the park less busy I doubt that myselfYou're excusing bad behavior by explaining, "But they'll stop the bad behavior later!"
Is it OK to steal if later on, you stop being a thief?

I think a thief might have a better excuse sometimes people go through hard times and do things that may not always be rightYou're excusing bad behavior by explaining, "But they'll stop the bad behavior later!"

You've got Aladdinmania!I think a thief might have a better excuse sometimes people go through hard times and do things that may not always be right
They would never do such a thing. I was assured they don't want the parks busy to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.variable pricing also opens the possibility that they suddenly lower ticket prices to cram more people into the park when it’s slower, right? Right?
Hey, why are you laughing?
Price increases on tickets, food, souvis, resorts, LLsDisney jacks the prices up and then lowers them slightly and the gullible masses think they are getting such a great deal. Kohl's does this all the time.
I highly doubt other parks will copy anything Disney is planning ticket pricing wise. If that was true they would all have different ticket prices depending on time of year. None of them do that other than UniversalYou're excusing bad behavior by explaining, "But they'll stop the bad behavior later!"

Merlin Entertainments had been looking at more variable pricing. Scott O’Neil openly said he saw it as the future as recently as the IAAPA Expo. Whether Fiona Eastwood agrees is something we’ll have to wait and see.I highly doubt other parks will copy anything Disney is planning ticket pricing wise. That's still only one other company. I would ne surprised if any of the major US parks do it. I can't see Six Flags, Herschend or Hershey doing it.Merlin Entertainments had been looking at more variable pricing. Scott O’Neil openly said he saw it as the future as recently as the IAAPA Expo. Yes because 6 flags has higher standards than Disney or universal when it comes to trying to make more moneyThat's still only one other company. I would ne surprised if any of the major US parks do it. I can't see Six Flags, Herschend or Hershey doing it.
So they lower prices and offer deals and you still complain?Price increases on tickets, food, souvis, resorts, LLs
Up to 20% off! Wow what a deal!
Or my favorite “free” dining
Where have they lowered prices and then offered deals? So they lower prices and offer deals and you still complain?
Thats the old Six Flags. The company is mainly controlled by the old Cedar Fair company.Yes because 6 flags has higher standards than Disney or universal when it comes to trying to make more money![]()
It's not about making the parks less busy. If they follow through with this plan, it's to maximize guest spendingFinally someone who understands! I was arguing with my mom about this earlier too she thinks it will make the park less busy I doubt that myself
Here’s a couple examples of some deals for 2025Where have they lowered prices and then offered deals?
We all know they offer discounts. That isn’t what we’re saying. It’s the raise prices and then discount meaning it’s not really a discount. Like free dining but you have to pay rack rate and sometimes add park hoppers onto your tickets. Here’s a couple examples of some deals for 2025
