Thank God all these trackless rides feel the exact same and break down constantly. An omnimover is perfect for what animal kingdom needs.

Would be interesting to see if they can update the omnimover to have accessible vehicles that can be loaded seperately like the Skyliner or Forbidden Journey to minimise stoppages and maintain capacity.

Is this the completely dry omnimover (a.l.a. Haunted Mansion, Mermaid, SSE, et. al.) or the water/boat based omnimover that was rumored (and patenteted a few years ago)?

Regarding living animals, the park already has several South American animals in the entrance area (I think tamarins, Galapagos tortoises, anteaters and parrots). I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to find some room in Tropical Americas for small animal exhibits to expand this collection (or to relocate some of the current animals from the oasis).

Add some capibaras and coatis, a couple of small terrariums (poison frogs, snakes, lizards, turtles) integrated in the village or the Indy ruins and maybe a small aviary. There's no need for a big facility for jaguars or bears, just a couple of small animal facilities would do wonders for this new area.

Feels like they are being careful to not destroy any pieces of TriceraTop Spin, doesn’t it?

Could have just bulldozed it.

Could just be to salvage replacement parts for other spinners, though.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they sold it to an amusement park somewhere. It’s a pretty generic ride without any blatant Disney IP.

There was an earlier discussion about moving it to TSL. I don't see how it would fit.

It’ll have an awesome queue but let’s hope the ride is better than Mermaid.

Is Mermaid the worst Omnimover they've ever built? There's probably something worse somewhere, but it shouldn't be hard to outdo it.

I’d say Nemo is, although it was technically a downgrade of the preexisting seacab attraction

There were some modest garden-style exhibits included with early layouts for TA. I'm not sure if they've survived development.

It will be a shame if not... by all accounts they were appropriate and well-integrated.

I think they'd be better off just swapping out the vehicles and putting the mechanism elsewhere. Toy Story Land needs an integrated playground that adds to the scenery and explorability of the land, not a fourth junior ride. While the space in TSL is not optimally utilized, I'd honestly just tuck the spinner away until they pull the Moana plans off the shelf. The kakamora overlay was actually a good idea since it would sensibility mask the mechanism in a believable in-universe way.

I really don't think Mermaid is that bad, just nowhere near to the level it should have been which makes it a disappointment.

The gift shop is easily the bigger loss than Triceratop. I'd rather see that reincarnated somewhere like T Rex Cafe at Springs than TriceraTop Spin move somewhere else.
