Really? Moana in MK is probably the one undeniable slam dunk choice amongst all the rumors IMHO - very popular IP, perfect fit for the environment, can be built without any disruption to current park operations, adds much needed capacity, etc. IMHO that would be getting built already.

Yes to all of the above plus expansion in that area opens up a few possibilities for improving infrastructure and crowd flow at MK.

If beyond thunder = losing rivers of America it’s a huge loss to the history of the park

I feel Cars is so specific, though, as to it being hard to really get over the IP. Coco, for example, can be read as being themed to Mexico, Encanto and Indiana Jones seem to be going into a Tropical Americas land, and even Avatar or Galaxy's Edge can be read as more generally sci-fi/outer space environments. Carsland, though, is full of oversized references to parts of cars and things related to them in a way that is very specific to the films. On one level it is based on Route 66, but it is so adapted to everything being a reference to cars that there wouldn't be space for anything that wasn't a part of that world if they decided to drop the specific connection to the IP for the land.

Any hopes left for the Peco's retheme at this point? Whether it be Tiana's or CBJ, I just wanna know lol (even though I think CBJ would be better and they should build a full scale Tiana's on the other side of TBA)

If true, that is crushing. There is zero need to really do anything with the RoA and TSI when there is a boatload of unused land north of the river. If DL with their space limitations can keep the RoA there is absolutely no excuse for WDW to not have theirs.

They had a brilliant idea with Villains land and they went with a half-a** version of an existing attraction?

Even if it's not so half-assed, it's still not exactly a wow moment to announce a modified version of something that opened 12 years ago and has been since then the big exclusive attraction of DCA.

As someone else mentioned, if that is the big reveal and the artwork happens to reveal Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island disappearing with no other gains... well, that will be an interesting announcement.

Only if they actually commit in some logical way to the path along RoA also being a journey in time, which I think would require them to bump Big Thunder a bit later.
