You’re hallucinating. I’ve been criticizing the Tiana ride constantly and haven’t mentioned the race of the Imagineers once. I don’t actually know anything about the identity of the designers (you apparently do) except that they did a bad job.

I say this with sincerity- your relationship to Disney is not healthy.

So if you want an overall all answer for me personally, I think they have handled parts well and other parts not well. I like what I like and dislike what I dislike, nothing more. I don't need to air every grievance endlessly in every SW thread (or even non-SW threads).

Speaking for myself, Andor is darn close to a masterpiece, Mando Seasons 1 and 2 and most of TLJ were great, TFA and the rest of TLJ were pretty good, Mando Season 3 was mediocre, Boba and Obi were quite bad, and RoS was an unmitigated disaster. I find most of Filoni’s work bland and feel that, on the whole, Disney Star Wars feels too timid, corporate, and safe and needs an infusion of unique artistic vision. It’s a mixed bag, but it’s been handled better than most major franchises. What’s absurd and deeply troubling are the people who’ve allowed toxic grifters to convince them that Disney’s stewardship of the franchise is a massive conspiracy to destroy all that is good and right in the world.

From what I've read the Alan Ng is one of the early reviewers.

The Ewok Line and the Prequels line pale in comparison to TLJ line. It literally is THE dividing line of the various different SW fanbases. And note fan base in the plural sense.

There isn’t a single SW fanbase, there hasn’t been since TLJ. That’s likely not changing anytime soon either. People peeled off prior but TLJ is the fault line.

Looks like the Acolyte is shaping up to give it a run for its money.

The fact that political values are even a discussion - let alone for 10 years - just show how far off they are

It was popcorn…the themes/conflicts were pretty basic/primal…that’s why it was the biggest franchise to hit across all demographic/gender lines.

Disney…of all people…should know. Since they were one of the few brands that managed to create that atmosphere prior.

The story since TLJ has been a continued splintering of the fan base into smaller and smaller segments for likely a variety of reasons.

The other aspect is apathy. Some fans are checking out fully and just don’t care anymore. I have several like that who have been SW for decades. Granted this is anticdotal but I wonder how common we’re talking here? Time will tell.

Not saying I have loved everything… cause I have not…but… except for The Rise of Skywalker…I have seen nothing in Disney Star Wars that would suggest that all those involved should have without hesitation believed it was an unmitigated disaster

These two have been anti-Disney SW for years, they’ve gone to town on the failure of Wish and Disney animation generally, Disney’s embrace of DEI, the list goes on and on. The only possible explanations are early access credentialing is extremely sloppy, or they believe negative coverage has a way of boosting interest in the brand. Hate-watching is a thing.
