They'd be daft not to enclose the outdoor portion. Would it need to be fully enclosed to meet requirements to stay open during bad weather?

I didn't realise the ride closed due to bad weather. That's really something that needs to be addressed.

I remember I even mentioned building out a overhang onto the building years ago when the tarp disappeared and people said "but it wouldn't be big enough". Looks like it's big enough.

Wow! Amazing what a simple refresh of the entrance can do for an attraction.

Wow that actually looks...good. Wish the sponsorship model was feasible in today's world because I feel the results are typically better. Guess this also confirms the track won't be covered.

Hopefully they work on the painful braking towards the end too. Friend of mine said it was "the worst ride in any park" because it hurts his neck.

The late-1990s were really a bad time for the aesthetics of Epcot: they seemed intent on sticking random things all over and around the original buildings.

It's funny as the canopy has been there SO LONG I sort of got used to it...will be interesting to see it gone again. Don't get me wrong, I'll prefer it looking closer to World of Motion era, but just feels like it's been a canopy forever at this point. (1996-ish?)
