It doesn't, however, contain a copy of the Employment Agreement they're being asked to approve.

On the other hand, there's nothing in the packet to suggest a broader search for candidates, so at least there's kind of some transparency about the decision being based solely on the governor's "recommendation"?
The Employment Agreement would not be public record

I don't know what the general practice would be in this situation, but they did include the Employment Agreements for Classe and Gilzean in the May 10/23 Packet.
I guess I should have said they can with hold the employment specifics. That is what I think I know but I could be mistaken.

Disney’s efforts to out-maneuver DeSantis fall short under new settlement, lawsuits to be dismissed

From the article:

“Under the agreement, Disney is set to drop its lawsuit against the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, and the district will drop its own lawsuit against Disney...

“[Disney] conceded that their last-minute development agreements are null, void, and unenforceable,” Griffin said. “No corporation should be its own government. Moving forward, we stand ready to work with Disney and the District to help promote economic growth, family-friendly tourism, and accountable government in Central Florida.”

“As usual, the media were wrong,” Griffin said.”

Uh, Disney why would you do this? This sets a horrible precedent anyone with more experience in here have a reason they would do this? I also thought they weren’t open to negotiations? This seems horrible, am I missing something here?
