My sister lives in my parents old house. She still has a yellow wall, push button phone on the wall in the kitchen complete with a 20 foot cord. She also has a rotary dial phone in the garage that my father wired in around 30 years ago. I don't know if it still works or not. The one in the kitchen does.
I'm almost certain there aren't many places where rotary dialing is available

Yea, but this is Vermont. Vermont was one of the last places to get push button dial. So, who knows! It quite possibly no longer works though.

I remember some years ago that hubs' mother had the LAST rotary dial phone in her area of Colorado. Mountain Bell informed her that it was too expensive for them to keep dial for ONE customer, and she'd have to switch over to touch-tone (pulse). I was proud of her -- she was the last hold-out! :joyfull:
