So I’m not mistaken that Disney said they’d be keeping the Beacons of Magic on the castle, ToT, and SE. Only seen SE lit up at night.

Disappointing. They all looked really good and added depth to the night skyline at the parks.

ToT's projections in general are downright bad looking once you are on the other side of Sunset Blvd, at that point it looks like a blur and is very dim looking from the rest of the lights along Sunset Blvd. Not only that, but some of the "The Hollywood Tower Hotel" letters were completely misaligned with the actual letters on the sign. Good riddance.

A couple more of the jabot and swag decorations have been removed on both sides of the castle.

On the other side, 6 pieces have been removed:

11 total pieces plus the 50th medallion have been removed thus far.

Doesn't come as a surprise, but the projections for HEA are still "projecting" as if the now-removed decorations were still there. Makes sense as they would have to adjust them after every couple days which isn't feasible.

What’s going on with that crumbled rock work on the right in pic 2?

13 pieces total plus the 50th medallion have been removed. We should expect the bead decorations be removed next, along with the front-facing jabot and swag pieces.

To be fair, these were attached using Command strips and I don’t care what they say on the commercial! They are a bear to take off and always take paint with them!

The beads/gems have been removed from the turrets on the front of the castle.

On the right side, one more jabot and swag piece has been taken down.

The left side remains the same.
That makes 18 pieces of decorations that have been removed, plus the 50th medallion.

On one hand, they’ll probably want the crane needed for that work in and out as quickly as possible. On the other hand, I would be surprised if more extensive repainting weren’t needed for the ribbons than for the bunting.

Perfect opportunity again to add a certain something or some things to the moat while it’s drained that can be used for the shows lol. But I’m sure they are still being to cheap to do it.

If only we had the DLP fountains! It would add so much for the show, and could be activated during the daylight hours for the castle shows as well. Silly that they never added them considering they were originally designed for the Magic Kingdom...

Exactly! I wonder if it was costs or other reasons as far as why it didn’t happen?
