There used to be a clock on the front of the building, maybe they are putting it back.

Someone had suggested Light & Power would be basically a gateway for TRON which is why I was wondering.

It's the same thing as an exit tunnel from Star Tours to Galaxy's Edge at DHS. Or if you want a really ridiculous example, the people over at Micechat who serious wanted a tunnel built leading from their Star Tours to their Galaxy Edge... underneath the entire Disneyland park.
It's just not practical. You need to have a wider entrance and exit. Look at Diagon Ally over at Universal and the way they had to cheat the entrance next to The Leaky Cauldron. Or at the upcoming Epic Universe. Each land has a portal building but paths on either side to help spread out the guest entering and exiting each land.

Because a building that isn’t the attraction and is also the exit for a different attraction is an even worse candidate.

They aren’t using it as Space Mtn’s exit right now and people are still getting back to Tomorrowland.

Does anyone know for AP previews for Guardians/Remy if passholders were able to bring a guest to the preview? We are out of state passholders and I've never had a trip planned during preview dates, but it is increasingly looking like we might be there for the Tron previews. My sister is joining us for this trip and is just a ticketed guest, so I'm wondering if we will be able to bring her with us, or if we will need to plan to potentially do the preview without her.
For AP previews, all guests would need to be Annual Passholders.

Today’s update says Light and Power will function as an entrance and exit for TRON. I knew I wasn’t crazy.

How do they plan to siphon the massive crowds in and out of that building?

Better than they would have siphoned them through that tiny walkway next door. I presume they will station CMs to make sure guests with appropriate passes (VQ or ILL) are allowed to enter the area. Doorways make that easier to regulate. People got VERY aggressive with CMs at RotR who were trying to keep them from sneaking in.

I think SpaM and Tron will both exit into the building. Space's exit will be restored as the work in the building is completed.

Still a little odd to me. I get the smallish walkway just to the side of that, but when you pass through that or the Light and Power bldg you aren't even exclusively in the attraction yet. There's a larger opening space after that and then even the walkway to storybook circus. Are you thinking you won't be able to walk to storybook circus or even get to see the big reveal of the Tron Attraction without passing through this point of VQ/ILL segregation?

Somehow, I feel the former arcade area that was walled off a few years ago will become a locker area for the ride..
