I have no problems with a local taking a room if they question the safety of their house, have young, elderly or a family with a medical condition where a loss of electricity is going to be an issue but I have a big problem with somebody taking one to make a profit

It’s very possible to be both at the same time.

I would be shocked if the resorts didn’t keep rooms available for walk-ins during such an event. I highly doubt a “vlogger “ is taking a room “away” from anybody.

Haha I wasn’t expecting to keep it but thought it was good. Just ventured out and impressed with amount of food service and entertainment that is being provided even Toledo’s terrace is back open with a buffet menu

A couple decades ago we were at CBR when they had to do emergency work on the power grid overnight. Housekeeping left a letter and a flashlight in every room because it required them to cut power for 3 or 4 hours. Collected it the next day.
