Yup, I think we just have a fundamental difference in the idea of how much of an advantage planning should give someone while attending a Disney park.
Don't get me wrong though, I will attempt to use and abuse whatever system Disney puts out to the best of my ability. I just feel like nerdy Purduevian staying at an value $120 a night hotel should not be able to skip more/better lines than Scrooge McDuck staying 10 nights in a Poly Bungalow, but he didn't do his research on G+.

see i wouldnt say booking Fp really "planning" you are doing the bare minimum required for the trip heck it probably takes longer to book your room and flight and a car rental than it does clicking on rides to choose from and if anything that should be fun and exciting

I think there are like 5 posters who adamantly believe this. Most people realize, over time, more attractions, even e tickets, will even out demand and increase overall capacity.

There is a reason g+ works better in MK than in any of the other 3 parks.

I can't wait to go to WDW and try out G+. MaxPass worked very well back in 2018 at DLR (I think that was the name of it).

I understand the excitement to go to WDW but I would lower the expectations that G+ works anywhere close to Maxpass at DL

I just want my own experience with it. FP worked great, FP+ worked great, MaxPass worked great. I can't imagine G+ is actually that much worse...but I haven't used it yet.

What baffles me is why they don't just have everything be an ILL with real time demand pricing. You walk up to the attraction, the price for the LL is listed right there. The choice is simple, either pay for access or wait in standby.

No planning necessary. Completely transparent.

That would be even worse than this Genie+ disaster.

There are obviously pros and cons to every permutation of a skip-the-line system, although they are highly variable based on each person's circumstances and touring preferences.

Cost is the obvious big negative here. What else about it bothers you?

Personally, I would vastly prefer this over Genie+ and every past permutation of FastPass. No pre-planning, no rules to learn or inside tricks to try and exploit, costs clearly specified, and the cost/benefit of paying or not staring you directly in the face.

So this probably more than doubles the price of a full prices ticket you already paid for to enter the park and if you choose not to pay for it for whatever reason you are stuck on longgg standby lines.

As long as there is still a free stand-by queue for all attractions I like this.

Folks would have the option to wait in stand-by for free.

Let's take this concept a little further. You know how you can load up a little gift card on a bracelet and use at the food booths in EPCOT (I love this), they should have a similar thing for ILL. you load up an ILL card (or your MDE account) with $$ and when you tap into the ILL queue, $$ is subtracted for that ILL.

Railway is actually pretty easy to get. Falcon is harder.

Staying at Beach Club...do you know does Remy open with all the other rides for early entry?
Perhaps will have to mow people down at 30 minute early entry from International Gateway!

Let me preface this by saying I'm not calling you out specifically but using your post as a broad statement.

Disney has succeeded.

"I'd rather Remy and Railway be for purchase."

People are now preferring to pay additional money for attractions that are already included in your park admission price.

This is why I plan on Early Entry and since it is right beside the International Gateway where the Skyliner will drop us off from Pop Century it will only take us a few moments to get there and get in line.
