Welcome one and all to the first prompt of One Sentence Competition: Summer Fun! In our first prompt we're celebrating the many sunshine filled days of fun with a themed park takeover! Now what is a themed park takeover? In years past many major theme parks have hosted events do provide more to do for guests in the form of a park takeover this includes Frozen Summer Fun and Star Wars Weekends at the Disney Parks, Anastasia's Kingdom at SeaWorld Orlando, Mardi Gras and the Celebration of the Olympics at Universal. These events take a particular IP and inject the park with new entertainment offerings, overlays, decorations, food offerings, etc. It's a great way to ensure that guests are having fun, and now it is your turn to create a fun theme park takeover for any park of your choosing. Keep in mind what IPs - if you choose to use one, that theme park has access to right now. This means that a Disney park cannot use Looney Tunes, Universal cannot use Family Guy, Six Flags cannot use The Peanuts, etc. Lastly just have some fun and enjoy!

-Challenge-
Design a new theme park takeover for the summer for any theme park.

-Rules-
- Please keep in mind what IPs whatever theme park you choose currently has access to.
- You may use between 1 to 2 sentences and up to 1 image.
- If you breach any of these rules your project will be disqualified, and will not be counted for rankings nor will it receive a review from me.
- The deadline is Friday, June 24th at 10:00 PM EST.

-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please, let your imagination soar!

Peanuts Summer Celebration

As part of the 50th anniversary of Kings Island in Ohio (with plans to expand to other Cedar Fair parks), Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang will be hosting events throughout the park. There will be meet-and-greets in Planet Snoopy, a Peanuts dance party, and plenty of specialty food and drink options.

The Muppets Take Disneyland

The Muppets have taken a trip to Disneyland - and per usual, this results in chaos ensuing! Throughout the park, animatronic Muppets are scattered about (Bobo is somewhere in Critter Country, Animal appears at one point during the Jungle Cruise, Gonzo is hanging out in Tomorrowland), live performances from Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are a daily occurrence, the Swedish Chef is cooking up some limited time snacks for us to munch on, and some idiot let Crazy Harry be in charge of the fireworks!

The cool thing about this slushy drink is that it somehow manages to be every color of the rainbow at once (just search "rainbow slushie" on Google Images to see what it would look like).

Roger Rabbit's Summer Movie Magic

With new possible Roger Rabbit sequel is in works at Disney. Roger Rabbit will show up to bring movie magic of summer fun, as their Toontown pals, Mickey and his friends to dance around the Chinese Theatre at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Our loveable blue ailen takes over Disney World!, It starts in MK but does move to each of the other parks, Meet and Greets with the Lilo and Stitch characters in their hawii attire, a dance party with the blue man himself, subtle hints of chaos at most rides, a scangver hunt to find chaos pieces, allong with themed snacks and drinks and merch!

Super Hero Summer
At Disney's Hollywood Studios, guests are invited to team up with Marvel Super Heroes (not the Avengers though due to liscensing with Universal). This would include a Guardians of the Galaxy overlay of Rock'n'Roller Coaster and a new show with Doctor Strange, as well as interactions throughout the park.

Groot Beer Float: Dark brown root beer with foam and ice cream in it, as well as a candy Groot.

Roger Rabbit's Summer Movie Magic

The event will brings a retheme to Rock N' Roller Coaster called Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Mayhem, takes place
at Maroon Studios in late 1940s as you'll hop into Benny the Cab to speed off to Toontown for the premiere of new Maroon Cartoon short, but watch out for the weasels!

Just a heads up DisneyFan per the rules of the competition this current submission would be disqualified for this round due to it going over the sentence limit. Please try to rephrase your idea to be two sentences; I know it is hard, but it would be unfair to others if I let this slide as two sentences has been the max for everyone else. (I’ll even look the other direction if you were to use a run on sentence since this is one of the first challenges)

In addition while the coaster retheme sounds lovely, please try to answer the prompt for the Bonus because as of right now it doesn’t meet the prompt and therefore you can not receive any bonus points.

POOH'S HUNNY HOLIDAY

Everyone's favourite silly old bear and friends take over Disneyland Paris for a special holiday of honey, bees, balloons, and Heffalumps. Each land features new decorations made by Pooh and friends, who can be found hiding and playing around the park; Owl and Rabbit have decorated Main Street with vegetables, Tigger and Roo have bounced all over Discoveryland to put up Heffalump and Woozle-shaped streamers; Kanga and Lumpy have given Adventureland a make over with plenty of scarves, mittens, and woolly hats; Eeyore and Gopher are right at home in Frontierland; whilst Pooh and Piglet have turned Fantasyland into a dream world of honey and friendly giant bees!

BONUS: Tigger's Springamajig -- an fruity flavoured fizzy drink that can put a real bounce in your step!

Hey @cdunlap ! I tagged since I noticed you were active on the forums, and wanted to see if you would like to participate in the One Sentence Competition. This competition features challenges that are posted every few days, and you have two sentences and an image to respond to that prompt. As long as you follow the rules in your submission then you automatically receive a point, if you have the strongest concept of the challenge you get two points instead.

The competition is pretty low stakes and doesn’t require a huge time commitment so it’s a perfect way to just relax and have some fun while getting to post some creative ideas and look at others for inspiration. It could also be a cool way to test out ideas you’ve had by using the competition as a way to do an elevator pitch and get some quick feedback

Overall it’s a good time, and I hope you participate however if you can’t no worries at all

Okay I'll try again. But I fixed only two sentences for Roger Rabbit idea with a bonus for the juice favor.

I’m on board with music, but I think the El Dorado idea could end up being more unique and give us more opportunities for different experiences rather than essentially duplicating close to the same thing for each musical genre.
