Rogan needs to learn to not try and talk over guests. So happy that Rogan was not about to let Gupta's network get away without at least Gupta himself coming clean on the lies they spread about Rogan's treatment for Covid.
You're missing some important words in there.More and more studies are showing that fully vaccinated people with a breakthrough cases are not likely to spread it.
Right. Everyone wants a light switch that's on or off. They want every solution to be like having a baby. Either you're pregnant or you're not, there's no such thing as half way.People are so black and white about this though. CDC went cautious based on a situation and people just get so nasty about it. Truth is while spread is high among unvaccinated, all masking is safer. You'd think we'd stop this fight, but we don't. Very sad really.
Gupta was attempting to avoid answering some important questions, I think Joe did what he had to do to get that done. Not that his interview style has impeded his success anyway.Rogan needs to learn to not try and talk over guests.
UK needs do mask mandate and social distancing NOW. The virus is getting worse in UK. Even people will have to worry about their Winter days soon as the cases will getting worse...UK cases are worryingly rising again. Now 45,000 cases (USA equivelant would be 230,000 cases a day).
Depressing. UK has no mask mandate and no social distancing rules at all - a tad surreal when you look at the stats.
Bizarre is that the rest of Europe is doing relatively well.
With their high vaccination rate, doubtful.UK needs do mask mandate and social distancing NOW.
Why not? I'm in Ontario and we have a high vaccination rate. Masks and social distancing are still required here for everyone. With their high vaccination rate, doubtful.
Because they already dropped their restrictions after achieving this rate. And it’s the UK.Why not? I'm in Ontario and we have a high vaccination rate. Masks and social distancing are still required here for everyone.
The Dole Whip stand is open, isn't it? What you can't get (at least as of the last time I was there) is a muffin at Sunshine Seasons. You're missing some important words in there.
"More and more studies are showing that fully vaccinated people with a breakthrough cases are not [as] likely to spread it [as unvaccinated people]"
Otherwise, it sounds like an absolute that vaccinated people never do something. We'll get 20 pages on people fighting about that and saying it's not 100% and totally happens. Followed by 10 pages of people saying since it happens at all, there's no sense getting vaccinated at all.
None of these are absolutes. Even the Gupta article in the first post doesn't say it's an absolute, but it does say that it's 8 times less for a vaccinated person and for less time. Both of which make a vaccinated person much less likely to pass on the virus than an unvaccinated one, but not 0.

But, that's not how virus transmission works. Maybe you're infecting lots of people, maybe few, probably not everyone you see and probably not none. And, since it's "less", when spread is high, that "less" is a larger absolute number. It's less of something large instead of less of something small.
We'll probably still get 5 more pages on how the vaccine is practically a forcefield or not anyway.
Everyone get vaccinated. Everyone get everyone you know vaccinated. That should drive the spread to less. Then less of a small number will be even less and it'll repeat until less is so small we don't worry about it anymore. Then I can get my Dole Whip, finally.

When the CDC, or any governmental entity, hands out guidance that affects individual daily lives, it's pretty black and white.I did read these findings were not peer reviewed yet, but promising for sure.

Some of Rogans ‘quotes’ are idiotic to say the least. And many of the peons who follow him and take him for gospel don’t help. Additionally, anyone would avoid answering questions and let’s remember, Gupta isn’t an epidemiologist, He’s a neurosurgeon. So it’s not exactly Gupta’s wheel house.Gupta was attempting to avoid answering some important questions, I think Joe did what he had to do to get that done. Not that his interview style has impeded his success anyway.
Why? LolI wonder why (sarcasm).
Need to add "dude""there are infinities that are larger than other infinities.” dude! Sounds like a quote from a really bad stoner comedy.
Tabloid TVFear Factor was a solid show for a bit.
The problem is ignorance. The vaccinated don’t realize that it isn’t a cure and should still wear mask and social distance. The unvaccinated use their brother’s girlfriend’s cousin’s best friend’s uncle’s former classmate that was vaccinated and caught the virus as an excuse not to get vaccinated BECAusE tHEy GOT VACCinAtED aND stILl gOT It being ignorant to the fact that there’s a gazillion strains out there and they could have been infected before the vaccine kicked in.You're missing some important words in there.
