I would buy $500M in DIS stock and try to influence the board to get WDW right again.

Not to be a "Debbie Downer", but there are currently 1.5 billion outstanding shares of Disney stock and the cost per share is currently about $100 a share. $500 million only gets you about 5 million shares or 0.3% control of the company. By comparison, Laurene Powell Jobs controls about 4% and the Murdoch's will control 4.4% once they convert the 21st Centry Fox holdings for Disney. Owning 0.3% might get you a nice seat at shareholder meetings, but your influence would still be pretty small.

Golden Oak house. Trips to all Disney parks around the world and then a mission to do every possible DCL itinerary out there on every ship.

Buy a beach home in Florida so I'm just a hop, skip and jump away from 'home', Annual Passes for the rest of my life and always stay at a monorail resort with a Magic Kingdom view :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

I'm fully aware it would give me almost no control. Even people with large stakes generally can't influence $150B companies. However, I like the stock enough that I'd take a huge position and it probably would give me a small voice to be a top 50 individual shareholder.

Fun game. Unfortunately I live in one of those states that publishes your name, home town and jackpot won. First expensive order of business is to hire some good legal help and an accountant to help me get off the grid, so to speak. Then I'd upgrade that rental and "sputterer" to something more suiting my personality.

Next, in relation to Disney I think I'd just buy more DVC points. A LOT more and set up point banks for family, friends and charity use. I'd finally take a trip out of the US. Thinking along the lines of Tokyo, Paris, London, Brussels... etc.

Finally, two words: Private Jet.

Disney wouldn't be my first concern with the money. I wouldn't be claiming it right away since I live in a state that publish your name, home town and jackpot won. I want to get things set first.

I wouldn't change my WDW trip habits at all.

What I'll do is go to Disneyland for the first time ever.

Club Level at the Poly while we figured everything out. Private jet to the Bahamas to dive with sharks, and back in time for dinner. Buy house near Disney, have pool company build resort size pool. Spend small torture on Disney artwork. Buy a few rounds for everyone at Trader Sams.

I would personally pay to resurrect AE and donate it to WDW with the caveat it be placed in HS and I get to go to the head of the line whenever I am at WDW. I would book the most expensive rooms at the Poly for all my sons and their wives and children for however long they want to stay. The remainder of the money I would invest and set up trust funds for my kids. I would purchase a 1962 corvette and a 1940 Ford hot rod. (my dream cars)
