Your Next Visit: What's New to You?

We spent a bit of time last night shaping a general itinerary for our next Disney World vacation and we made some dining reservations as well. I'm happy that we'll be trying a few places that are new to us. We have dinner reservations for Olivia's (we've previously only been for breakfast), Rose & Crown, and Captain's Grille. We also have a breakfast reservation at Fresh Mediterranean Market. I think we'll also stop in at the new Tutto Gusto Wine Bar for dinner one night, and as we have a few days with no plans at all, we may make our way over to Turf Club for lunch one day. I think we'll also check out the offerings at Landscapes of Flavor at Art of Animation at some point.

What dining spots will be new to you on your next Disney World vacation? Any insights or reviews on my choices?

Your dining plans seem wonderful! This year, besides sticking to some of our traditional restaurants, we are trying Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner for the first time. (seems fun!) and we have ressies at Boma, for breakfast (we've never been here either). We also have eaten at very few Counter services, especially in MK. On our *planned* list, we have Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill, and Sleepy Hollow, as well as Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD. I am looking forward to them ALL!! ;)

I really enjoy California Grill. Especially the sushi, flatbreads and first course menu. I hope you guys have a great time!

Whispering Canyon and Boma are two more places we've yet to try. We never go to buffets, but I think when we break that trend it will be for Boma. We had a reservation for Whispering Canyon last February, but then my partner got a new job and we spent the week we would have been staying at the Wilderness Lodge moving from New Jersey to Montana instead. It was its own kind of wilderness adventure, but I hope we can recreate that canceled trip some time in the future.

Honestly, outside of Disney Im not a big fan of buffets, but do go to a few in Disney. (Chef Mickey's being one of the must dos every trip) Im not a super adventurous eater, I figure, at Disney, there's always the children's section!! LOL And I have to admit, regarding CS, those waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow look VERY tempting, so, sign me up!!! ;)

I guess I can't say "never" on the buffet thing anymore as Fresh does have a breakfast buffet. That one will be our first.

Great list, Dude! I really like the food at Coral Reef, so I hope you enjoy that one. It's super noisy in there but the aquarium is cool and I've never been disappointed by a seafood dish there. I also like everything else on your list that we've tried: Yachtsman, Kona Café (especially dinner) and Citricos. Enjoy!

I'll be staying at the Beach Club for the first time next June so a buffet at the Cape May Cafe is definitely on the cards. Other restaurants that will be tried for the first time will probably include -

Whispering Canyon Cafe
Cali Grill
Plaza Restaurant
Captains Grille

Cool! I hope you enjoy the beach club. I think there's no better location for a Disney World vacation than one of the rooms on Crescent Lake.

57 days isn't too bad! Enjoy the countdown; you'll be there in no time.

I don't eat a lot of fried food so I don't think I'll try the fish and chips at Rose and Crown unless a strong craving strikes me. So much on that menu looks good to me, though. What to order is definitely not something I'd be able to plan in advance.

WCC @ WL was a nice experience. We had a good waiter. We splurged a bit for the "trout lettuce wrap" appetizer. The "WE NEED KETCHUP" routine just cracked us up! The kids loved riding the hobby horses. ENJOY!;)

Well, trying 'Ohana both breakfast and dinner, Kona Cafe, Spirit of Aloha Show, and 1900 Park Fare Character Dinner Buffet. Staying @ the POLY for the 1st time, and just wanted some simple, easy to get to, places to eat as we're spending most of our time @ the resort! Come on September! ( and I'm a teacher- usually love my summers off, but am hoping this summer will go by fast!).;)

Awesome! It sounds like you'll really be making the most of your stay at the Polynesian. I hope you have a great vacation!
