Your Next Visit: What's New to You?

Love Rose and Crown! That's a must-do for me on every trip (but I also wish I was British so that might be why I like it so much).
Our next trip is Dec. 22-30 and planning to get ADRs for the usual: Rose and Crown, Liberty Tree, Hoop-de-doo and 50s Prime Time. Only new one will be Akerhaus for breakfast but my nieces (7 and 5) haven't been to Disney before so it'll be great seeing things through their eyes!

Cool, so you're hitting up a lot of the same places as me! My advice on The Wave: if you're going for lunch or dinner, take your meal in the lounge. It's got a much cooler atmosphere than the actual dining room.

We have a few new-to-us reservations this fall.

Akershus
Mama Melrose
Liberty Tree Tavern

All three of those are completely new to everyone.

Chef Mickey's
Boma

New to the kids and my mom.

We spent a bit of time last night shaping a general itinerary for our next Disney World vacation and we made some dining reservations as well. I'm happy that we'll be trying a few places that are new to us. We have dinner reservations for Olivia's (we've previously only been for breakfast), Rose & Crown, and Captain's Grille. We also have a breakfast reservation at Fresh Mediterranean Market. I think we'll also stop in at the new Tutto Gusto Wine Bar for dinner one night, and as we have a few days with no plans at all, we may make our way over to Turf Club for lunch one day. I think we'll also check out the offerings at Landscapes of Flavor at Art of Animation at some point.

What dining spots will be new to you on your next Disney World vacation? Any insights or reviews on my choices?

We have 3 new places booked for our upcoming trip: Cali Grill, Cape May Cafe for dinner, and Kona Cafe for breakfast (tonga toast and pineapple pancakees, here I come!). Rose & Crown Pub was terrific, especially during IllumiNations - try the surf and turf!

Thanks for the advice, Jill! I hope you enjoy your new dining experiences too.

I think our Rose & Crown dinner will probably overlap IllumiNations. If we don't get a seat with a view of the fireworks, is there a patio or something adjacent to the restaurant where we can step away from our table for a few minutes to watch the show?

We'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time in August and have an ADR for Artist Point for our first night. We'll also be trying the following restaurants for the first time,

Liberty Tree Tavern
Le Cellier
California Grill
Raglan Road
Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party

Really looking forward to trying all these!

That's a solid list, Lisa! Please let me know how you liked the Wishes Dessert Party when you return. I don't think it's in the cards for us this year, but we definitely want to try it some day.

Every trip we try at least one new place. This year will be Via Napoli. We are trying new meals at other places tho. We are having dinner at Whispering Canyon, we've done breakfast there many times. We are also going to do lunch at Le Cellier where we had only done dinner before.

They will enjoy both Chef Mickey's and boma :) Great choices!

My wife and I haven't done Chef Mickey's or Boma since the honeymoon in 2003. So we wanted to get back. I know the kids will love Chef Mickey's. I think they will like Boma even if it isn't as kid-friendly. Josie loves buffets and Kara just loves food. I imagine she is going to crush some zebra domes. I know I am!
