Just wanted to come back to mention the awesome Apple experience I had this past week. My almost 3 yro MacBook Pro (oldest son reminded me I've had it nearly 3 years now) stopped charging. I'd plug in the charger, attach it to the side, and no little glowing indicator light or charging. Dang. Got online via iPhone, looked up the local Apple store, made myself an appointment at the Genius Bar, went to the appointment, and got a new charging cable. Never spent a dime (which was hard with all the cool iPhone covers!). Well, okay, I stopped for a Starbucks on my way out. LOL! I love that even a nearly 3 yro piece of equipment can receive a look by a professional and replacement parts for no additional charge. It feels good knowing I can take it in if I need to or if I have a question. I'm not alone! I always hated trying to find the right person to take a not-working laptop to then worry they're going to find things to charge me for because, let's face it, I wouldn't know if they were ripping me off or not. Right? And, nice to feel like Apple stands behind their products without question. They didn't know if I'd done something to that charger. They didn't question it at all. The guy attached his charger, made sure it was charging, ran a few updates for me, then brought me the new charger. Easy-peasy!
